I'm not too bad. It's getting pretty burny though which is annoying. Luckily I am so tired all the time that it doesn't affect my sleep.0 -

The impact of fatigue can be horrific. I have said very recently to doctors, I can cope with pain its the not getting anything done etc that blights me more.
I seem to be taking to the 'pick me up' pill well. Ironically its making me sleep less. I was up at four, and back in now from moving some fencing for a guy coming into day to do some stuff in the field. I was dreading doing that so could to get it out the way early.
Dog dog wouldn't come, but big dog and kiwi came and we saw rabbits here for the first time ever, so they got a lot if exercise chasing them, then a hare, which we have lots of, who they also chased.
I love hares.0 -

I think so! I'm tired now. I woke up at 3am - forced myself to wake up, even, as I was convinced it was morning. I was wide awake then.
I have to take kids to school, men to work and dogs to groomers then a little bit of work, then maybe I can sneak a nap inEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I felt so bad, that they had such unrealistic expectations of her and that he couldn't make peace with the idea of dying. It was undignified, painful, desperate. She was so honest and her grief so raw. The poor woman
I think Junior was lucky that he got to the party and pulled out all the stops to have a proper/great birthday party with his mates.... but them getting married was a bit odd (can't help thinking that was just to get her some benefits or something) .... she was asked in Episode 1 if they'd have been together if he'd not been ill and she said "No" as he was a player. 11 kids by 10 women he had.0 -

You're right. The party was valuable for him.
I think being married might have made it easier for her to deal with his affairs once he'd gone, as next of kin. Even if it were for some kind of benefit, I think she deserved it. He was ill the whole time they were together and she went through hell caring for him.
I just thought it was extraordinarily sad that he left it that long to marry her - I think they both suffered with denial. His final hours should have been more calm and managed than that. He clearly suffered and she must be mentally scarred by that experience.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Love indian food.
It was really good - Isaac and OH enjoyed it too, and Kermie * slept most of the time in the sling. There weren't any good lightbulbs for him to stare at, so the place was a bit of a dead loss as far as he was concerned.
* OH now only calls him Kermit or Kermie. At least he is, however, safely registered as Daniel Mark....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Just looked at the logistics of a potential Nikkster visit (no pressure, just my OCD for being nosey and checking things/comparing)...
Driving is 2.5 hours, Google's quickest route.
Train is 4 hours and lots of changes.
Trains suck don't they.0 -
I know nothing of curtains etc.... when I get the keys I'll go in and look at the pole to see what sort of deal it is ...
Just checked the photo and it's one pole, without any rings. She uses those curtains that have holes cut in them so you thread the curtains onto the pole, so you're not suspending the curtains from a hook that fits onto an eyelet on a ring on the pole... so I'll look into that style (seems easier).
Voiles:
So, in the meantime, I'm looking for "cheap things to put up at the main window" and for £26, this would do: http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/aqua-pacific-voile-panel-58745 or these at £11 each http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/prod/ready-made-curtains/ready-made-voiles/plain-ring-top-voile-teal
But then I realise, it doesn't show you the "fixings" end in the photo, so I can't guess how one of those might be attached (apart from with gaffa tape).
Then there's that "tricky stuff" where you don't understand which curtains to buy because you can measure from the pole to the floor, but don't know how much of the curtain in the pack "goes above" the pole.... and if there's too much you might end up with the curtains "at half mast" so to speak.
Curtains:
These would do: http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/mauve-felicity-curtain-collection-396117 but I don't understand it. A curtain is 228cm square, or does it mean two in total are that size? You have to buy them in pairs. So I suspect that choosing to buy 1 pack/2 quantity would be an area 456cm wide. ... but I could be wrong and it could mean that 228cm is the total width (of the two). Why don't they explain?? My expanse of windows is 266cm wide (8 foot 9 inches).
At a guess that'd mean I'd need to buy two packs of two ..... suddenly it then zooms out of "affordable/will stretch to it".
Found this and thought of LIR: http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/prod/homewares/roosters-cafe-curtain-panel-white-yellow - cute idea, but it doesn't "work".0
