I did wonder if you were close to me, but didn't want to ask while you were there in case you felt awkward at not having said/under obligation to meet up.

Was it near me? Or was it further West? Or even East?

Further west. I think referral might be to near you though. He did say, I didn't take it in. I think he said X

I finished the Y10 reports. There are still chocolate fingers waiting for when I do the Y9 reports.

DH no longer glad to have pulled Spain out of the sweepstake hat.

Why didn't they use their subs and chuck the kitchen sink at it?
cos their tippy tappy boolsheet has been found out.

    I am glad.

    Why was Casillas still playing?
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

...He did say, I didn't take it in....
Easily done... so keen to get away .... they should write things down, many people aren't listening/hearing when in a Hospital situation.

I'll get a letter and then when they write / phone to arrange appt I'll find out so not too worried.

He's going to expedite it he said, so I don't expect to be left wondering. Have to say, he wasn't rushing me. He spent 45 mins with me discussing ways Forward and options. I have enough questions to fill hours....but that's not reasonable. Questions lead to more questions too. M

    .....

In fact....I just looked it up yes I was right. :).

I have had my moments at home where I really haven't coped well and my boss has been critical of me at times which has hurt and is pushing me towards a future which I've been looking at for a long while anyway. (More about that to follow in the coming couple of years).

I have coped with all this as well as I could hope. The big fear that I daren't think about is What Happens If It Comes Back? I don't know how I'd deal with that.
We all have such moments Gen. Part of me still can't fathom what my friend went through, even though I was there at some point every day. There was more than 1 occasion where I thought she may actually die in front of me.
I also worry now whenever she coughs, in spite of the fact that her treatment finished 8-9 years ago.

Seriously though, thank you to all of you for your support. It didn't feel overwhelming or underwhelming, just Nice.
You'd have done the same to us. Only a couple of weeks now, & you'll be posting huge diatribe threads & telling us of your cycling up mountains...;)

I do have a bit of a plan to make a headline happen as it goes.

The mountains here are mostly crap but:

Cancer Survivor Cycles From Sydney to Brisbane

    sounds good to me.

My headline would read: Cancer Survivor Lounges on Beach With an Ice-Cream :)

Brisbane's by the beach and I do traditionally have an ice cream at the end of a big ride.

We can share a headline, albeit rather differently:)
