Corrected that for you
I was terrified. Friend who was also buying came round the evening I got my keys. She couldn't understand why I looked terrified rather than excited and relieved. A few weeks later when she got her keys she told me she then understood.
Almost there.
Then you can start getting on with all those lovely things you have planned.0 -
Like when registering with Gp he asked if I had any regular 'partners' to which I replied 'no', hastily followed up by telling him I didn't have any irregular ones either. He deffo looked more embarrased than I did
This one also has little 'interpretive' use of English, which makes it hard. He says 'red?' What I'm adamant I mean Marroon,or the colour of a deep red wine at a push. He blinks and says red. I cannot agree because that's poppies or letter boxes or buses.
Also, he misunderstood something I said last time and was under the impression I travelled mainly my wheelbarrow. This lead to much confusion for both of us untangling things.
And now I keep laughing in the waiting room and people are looking.

I'm not sure I'd want to lick my feet. Especially since, because of weight loss, I can see them.
Put clean socks on... lick socks.
Solved.
Or cover them in kitchen towel....
You just have to know if you "could have" if you'd stretched/tried, rather than actually doing it; I accidentally went a bit far when I just licked my foot.0 -
I have more of last visits magic pills, something that might cheer me up now They've got a full set of bloods done and.......
....a referral to another consultant in another hospital.
This is how it feels to be a hot potato.0 -
Sadly, I am no longer flexible enough to lick my feet.
I just tried.
Its a long time since I did yoga or anything, but thankfully :huh:I can still do this.
Neither leg goes behind my head any more though. Unsurprisingly! And as its not that attractive a skill I'm not THAT fussed. I do feel really in flexible.0 -

I have a remedy for that. My low immune system has resulted in a toenail infection.. ( which of course no one wants to treat because the pills might stress my body to much, they are hard on the liver, and my liver still works so......)
Still keen?0 -

Fungal nail infection! Lot of it about! Because of closed shoes, probably. The choice seems to be either a lengthy course of anti fungal tablets that can damage the liver, or just living with it. My own view is that it isn't worth risking liver damage. Particularly as, without some change in footwear habits, it will probably return in a few years. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
