    I just tried.

Its a long time since I did yoga or anything, but thankfully :huh:I can still do this.

Neither leg goes behind my head any more though. Unsurprisingly! And as its not that attractive a skill I'm not THAT fussed. I do feel really in flexible.

I'm impressed. I just tried and failed. I need another six inches on my tongue.

Fungal nail infection! Lot of it about! Because of closed shoes, probably. The choice seems to be either a lengthy course of anti fungal tablets that can damage the liver, or just living with it. My own view is that it isn't worth risking liver damage. Particularly as, without some change in footwear habits, it will probably return in a few years.

Can't tea tree oil be used topically for this?

    Every day I've searched RM

Took me a month to cancel my RM and Zoopla alerts. I let myself look through the property pages of the 2 free local papers that come through the door.

It is !!!!!! scary. But you can (and are indeed) do(ing) it :)

I can't believe I just tried. I can get my toes.

Ages ago I used to do a 'yogalates' class a couple of times a week. Once one of the older gentlemen who also attended the class commented on how flexible I was. I'm sure it was meant as an innocent compliment but

    Friend who was also buying

Was telling said friend about my plant thief as we were leaving work. She's just been in touch to say that someone's nicked the two plants at the front of her house today.

Sounds like there'll be a lot of plants at car boot sales around here this weekend. Barstewards.

    Maybe. BUPA says

Can herbal remedies, such as tea tree oil, help with fungal infections?

    Answer

There isn’t currently enough scientific evidence to say whether or not herbal remedies can help to treat fungal infections.

    Explanation

Some people who try herbal remedies, such as tea tree oil, to treat fungal infections find that they help. Early research has shown that tea tree oil may help against some types of fungi. However, there isn’t enough evidence to recommend using tea tree oil to treat fungal infections.

You can try herbal remedies to help treat your fungal skin infection if you wish, but don’t delay seeking help from your pharmacist or GP.

You may find herbal remedies helpful, but it’s important to remember that natural doesn’t mean harmless. Herbal remedies contain active ingredients and may interact with other medicines or cause side-effects. Don’t start taking any herbal remedies without speaking to your GP or pharmacist first.

He's just an interesting bloke with a story that contains a message to share.

I'm sure it's much more a sign of how closed my mind is than anything else. I'm really pleased it helped you :)

If it had been nearer £15 than £40 I might well have given it a go. I'm in a particular rut at the moment and could do with breaking out of it. I managed it last year, but can't remember how on earth I did it.

It's worth pointing out the case of the daughter of some friends of ours. She had terrible eczema and they tried all the standard cures. In desperation, they tried a Chinese herbalist. His medicine helped with her eczema. A lot! But it turned out that it also severely damaged her liver, so they stopped the herbal treatment. And now she has eczema AND liver damage to live with for the rest of her life.

I'm not suggesting that tea tree oil is harmful in that way, of course, but I doubt that it has received even a hundredth of the safety testing modern medicines go through.

I am lucky enough to be able to be barefoot when ever its warm enough. Today is an unusual day in that I wore shoes almost all day. I took two pairs, open two wedges and the shoes I call 'the ugliest shoes on the world' I can walk in the latter because flat, but they somehow seem hard on my ankle and stuff ( they are meant to help). They are open like old persons sandals, or kids ones. In winter I wear mainly socks.

Tried , and OTC treatments, for a few years now. Might do in people with more robust defence systems.

Tomterm8 and lemonjelly. I spent years avoiding the dentist as my first dentist used to hurt me a lot (not deliberatly but anaestheitcs sued to take ages to start working and he'd drill deep fillings before they properly numbed me. So it was fear of the pain of the drill that kept me away. However, they'd advanced by leaps and bounds in the last couple of decades and dental anaesthesia is at a stage where I'm totally at ease with going to the dentist. For your peace of mind, yu muight feel bette if you get someone that's been recommended by people you trust, and stick with them.

It's just not something to fear any more, and I'm someone who always needs a lot of deep work.

    All the best for Friday.
