I've got to admit that although it specifically says it's not a cult, it does sound a bit like a cult... :o

Hope it goes OK and that you get answers to your questions / any extra help that you'd like.

Here's hoping what's happening inside your mouth is stuff he's seen thousands of times before and knows exactly how to help. :)

I have nearly finished my reports. They are not going to defeat me. I have box of chocolate fingers and am allowing myself one each time I finish a report. ;)

    Edit: Finished them. 1:46am. :D
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Yeah, it's all fine. I had a throat infection which made things seem much worse than they really were.

Everything is progressing as expected. 5 days left.

Good news. :) Have they given you anything for the throat infection?

No, I'm just about over it and I've very specifically been told not to take antibiotics.

Sounds sensible to me. Have they advised on any particular dietary rules?

Just the usual 'plenty of water'. They haven't even told me to avoid drinking alcohol or smoking.

I specifically asked and they couldn't have been more non-committal. I ended up saying, "I eat a pretty healthy diet, lots of veggies and some meat. Should I just carry on"?

They might as well have replied, "I'm not being funny right, but that ain't my area", like a disaffected supermarket worker.
