Would you really have picked Jennings over Gordon Banks, or Peter Shilton ? King Kenny over Kevin Keegan ? George Best over.........okay George Best over everybody else !!!
Actually the Scotland team of 1978, with a decent GK and maybe 3 or 4 other players from the rest of GB would have been a pretty good team.
Jennings over Shilts I reckon. Both amazing keepers but Pat had that way of grabbing the ball with one hand.
King Kenny over Keegan every day for me: bigger, stronger, faster and a better finisher. Before him, Law would have been great in front of Bobby Charlton.
That boring Scot off Match of the Day at the back too.
Souness would have been in the middle of the park.
Dave MacKay would have made the GB team along with Greavsie from the '61 double side.0 -

We have a corner sink in the utility, two bowls with the draining board on one side.............no idea why, HID designed it, I just paid.
In the kitchen we have a two 1/2 bowler made of something called Fragigranite..............which probably contains absolutely no Granite at all.'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
I will raise you to 6
England won't make the final. As great an international manager as [STRIKE]Harry Basset[/STRIKE] Roy Hodgson is, England simply don't have the players to win.
As for Australia, I reckon scoring a goal will be a decent result for them in this World Cup given the opponents. It'd be a Group of Death except Australia's in it.In the kitchen we have a two 1/2 bowler made of something called Fragigranite..............which probably contains absolutely no Granite at all.
Is that like diamante only made from granite by Fraggles?0 -
We have two stainless steel sinks that we rescued from the burnt down house. They are twenty years old and are still in excellent condition. We also rescued the taps, and they are perfect apart from the chrome coming off in places because of overly zealous cleaning. Three separate bowls. On the taps, I had to replace a couple of O-rings. All are from Francke. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

if it ain't broke, don't fix it ..... should have remembered that.
I randomly decided, 1.5 hours ago, to delete my antivir and reinstall afresh ...... trouble is it won't reinstall and I suspect my HD is too small for the unpacked files!
Bit stuck now on what to do.
Tried Avira and AVG ... and, as happens when one does these things, I have to be somewhere in an hour and still need a shower!0 -

We had a fire in the airing cupboard that spread. It didn't completely burn down the house, but the smoke damaged everything. Obviously, some things, like stainless steel sinks, survive better than others. Top tip is to close internal doors, as it stops the smoke spreading. No reliance should be placed on the above! Note I am thanking football posts without understanding any of it, nor do I have any wish to do so.
We have a one and a half bowl kitchen sink. The half bowl is useful for straining and rinsing off. Stainless steel Franke. In the old house we had the same design but made of off white matt stone.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I am getting the feeling that Francke is a make.... and as it's "you lot" I'll assume that's a posh one
I didn't know sinks had brands until right now....
I've always had "a sink", no brand/make!0 -

Football is simple. Tottenham are the best lot. The rest are pointless/annoying/boring/Arsenal.
There really is nothing further to understand.
We have a double bowl in the kitchen and a massive one in the laundry. The laundry one is the absolute Aussie standard for a laundry, built in to a cheap metal cupboard. This is the sort of thing:

42 litre bowl which is a little over 9 gallons. We use the sink to chuck cleaning cloths, facecloths, tea towels, rags etc in to wash every week or two. It's also great for handwashing clothes and for putting pukey kids clothes and bed sheets in at 3am ready for dealing with at a more civilised hour. When the kids were younger it could also be pressed into service as a baby bath when staying with non-child owners.0
