I am getting the feeling that Francke is a make.... and as it's "you lot" I'll assume that's a posh one :)

I didn't know sinks had brands until right now....

    I've always had "a sink", no brand/make!

Yes, it is a good brand. One of the differences between brands is in the depth of the sink. Deeper is good, because it means less splashing. However, a deeper sink needs a lot more work to make. They have to start with thicker steel, so they can draw it into the right shape. The deeper the sink, the more they have to draw the metal, so the thinner it gets when they work it. Starting with thicker steel needs bigger, more expensive, presses, and so on. Obviously, a thicker sink is more robust and less likely to get dented.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    And the quality.

    Just like white goods.

Note I am thanking football posts without understanding any of it, nor do I have any wish to do so.
    It is appreciated ;)

Football is simple. Tottenham are the best lot. The rest are pointless/annoying/boring/Arsenal.

There really is nothing further to understand.

    You're all wrong.
Wimbledon all the way (and definitely not Franchise FC...)
Nothing wrong with (Harry) Bassett as a manager...

I've thanked this post, even though I have not a clue what it means.

There is only one southampton although of course to see most of our team including the ma aver next season you will have to go somewhere other than St Mary's.

Kitchen and utility both have 1,5 bowl black stone effect sinks. Aren't deep sinks too low?. Taps are ceramic mixers with pull out shower hose. Utility sink is fine as softened water kitchen sink water not softened and the black shows the drip marks...
    I think....

I have silvercar's sink - well not literally, but the same make.

Somewhat oddly, hjd, every football match I have ever seen, about 5 in all, was Wimbledon playing. Back in the days when they were at Crystal palaces ground.

Football is not my forte, despite sharing an office with a rabid Man U fan and being a stone's throw from their ground.

Random new question time. What sort of sinks do the NPs have?

My house will have a stainless steel sink, with a mixer tap and 1.5 bowls... looking forward to that as you can rinse things down in the 0.5. I keep a plastic bowl in the sink, so tipping coffee dregs into a single sink and rinsing a cup out's always a hassle. You end up lifting up the bowl and hoping to aim for the plughole... trying not to trap any coffee dregs under the bowl.

Like everyone else I'm predictable and have a Franke. Replaced the horrid cheap leaky sink when we moved in. It too has 1.5 bowls. The only thing I don't like about it is that mine has a textured finish, but I find it harder to clean than my old non-textured one. I wouldn't call it posh though, it cost £150 with a mixer tap in a clearance sale.

Hmmmm. Without wishing to annoy both you and Gen... is there ever a good time to mention that my granddad played for P******? He was also an A***** fan.
