Debate House Prices

I don't know if anyone remembers that despite me not planning any chicks this year the chickens had other plans so I have an unplanned mongrel hatch?
This is them in the sun today
Also, the millefluer bantams, the two girls who do everything together as a couple, they have pulled one on me too, they have presented me with this today
It will be half millefleur and dad is a silkie cross non bearded silkie bantam. ( the results should probably be quite like the mother in first picture)0 -

He may not be laughing after having to explain to his wife why some woman is sending him her knickers through the post.
Surely,...we'd buy gen his OWN frilly knickers. In lieu of custard filled gloves we could probably with a whip run, run to a new pair of nice knickers.
We could empider them with ' surprise , mrs gen!'0 -

It's £40/year and the deadline to apply for the service is in a couple of days. I won't be getting it for the house either as the house is closer to the tip and I'll have similar volume requirements. For £40 they will empty a 240 litre wheelie bin every fortnight.
I thought councils had targets for recycling. So they should be encouraging people by (a) making it free (b) restricting normal waste collection. Contradicting senses: Straight ahead the view is of the sea, the sun is glistening off it, it is warm and sunny and the wind has dropped. It looks totally beautiful. I can hear (too loudly) the TV replaying the D-day landings and associated commentary and translations.
Seems very weird, especially considering that 70 years ago, this country didn't exist.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Maybe it's to make it fairer... after all, those living in flats don't have gardens (mostly) .... and/or if people are older (which they are here), then they're more likely to have a patio garden, or be employing a gardener (who takes it away and pays a license fee for that to the Council).
I think normal rubbish is fortnightly - and normal recycling stuff is fortnightly too ... so the van comes weekly and you have to remember each week if it's normal rubbish or plastic/glass/paper recycling.0 -

With all the leaders there .... it might remind them of past times and make them wind their necks in a bit in the coming years.0 -
This ought to be a picture of my lawn, but not quite working! The link works, and it is ideal viewing for those who want an excuse not to mow the grass. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
