On the voting thing, I came up as lib dem, then green, then labour.
    I voted last night.
The EU paper was a bit ridiculous! For Europe I had a ballot paper made by Andrex and inscribed with virtually every extremist political view point I have ever seen!

Dh's approach to voting is quite amusing.

He researched all his options, on a party and individual candidate level.

He really put the effort into the process it deserves.

He's self declared not that interested in politics. Its a shame, he'd be a good politician.

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

I cannot fathom why anyone would vote for UKIP in a local election.

Probably because the vast majority of us have no idea what we're doing ... we don't know what it's all about, or how all the Govt stuff fits together..... so most people stick to either "what they've always voted... which is what their parents said was good", or "based on one thing they thought they heard/read from one source.... but it's a decision and we feel proud/informed"

    :)

There's no simple, black/white list/comparison of who does what, who is promising what ... .and, you know ... even if there were and if you voted based on it they'd lie and not do whatever it was they promised.... so you're back to Plan A.

Right... NOW I can tell you all the bad stuff I found out ...

    :)

Congratulations. What date did you make the offer?

For a "cash buyer" I bet my purchase will take longer than all you lot! That's the seller's solicitors' fault though..... and would have occurred even if I had a mortgage.... I just drew the short straw in life (again).

Does it mean you are really Luis Suarez?

Consultant did think I have torn my meniscus so possibly, but he thinks the real damage is ACL rupture which is at least 6 months recovery time so I won't be playing in the World Cup unfortunately.
