Being cheap, and/or tight, is a very different thing to not repaying specific loans. One is honest and one dishonest.

    This is how I feel.

However, I have to admit, I would consider it likely I might forget to pay something. I get very anxious about this sort of thing because memory can let me down, then if I remembered I would be MORtIFIED, so I would want Spirit to give me the out were she gracious enough to. I like gens plan for that reason.

You don't lend money to friends if you want to keep friends:D

It's either give... or not give.

    Just IMHO.

It can be hard booking tickets for sit down things though, because your not able to get sequential seat numbers unless booked together.

My particular friend bugbear is a friend of dh's who has not yet been invited to the wreck because he refuses to leave often. He comes for supper and is still there four days later, and DH feels bad telling him to go.

I tell him to go without much difficulty. He's almost perpetually single but note I haven't introduced him to any single nice women.

I spoke to the school this morning, it was the fact that although the student support services could see he was statemented but that they didn't know how everything impacted on him as they were from the old other campus.

I advised them that that was not good enough, that if they have the information that he is statemented, then why does it not state the really important stuff and she told me it does...but they obviously had not read it and assumed he would come down to sort things out.

I also told them that really the fact he is statemented is by the by....even with a 'normal' student they should have realised something by the very fact the ID wasn't picked up by lunchtime and that maybe they should chase it up as there is no other way for a student to purchase lunch (and a parent would not have made a special effort to drop it off for someone taking packed lunch, as the ID card wouldn't really be needed for anything else)

They did apologise but they really had no option but to apologise in the circumstances really....
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I too worry about forgetting a debt. My solution is that, when a friend lets me know that tickets have been bought, I thank them and say they must remind me to pay them back if I forget. Them passing the tickets over prompts me to consider if I have paid.

The kids use some pay by text app that transfers money by mobile phone direct to bank accounts, so no excuse not to pay up immediately. It's called PayM if anyone is interested.

Me too. Always when incurring any kind of "debt" I ask the person to remind me if I forget, and assure them it won't be intentional if I do. Even when I (frequently) borrow a pen/ruler/pencil from a student in class for a mere 2 minutes, I always say "Remember to make me give it back to you." They know what I'm like, though - they've seen me ask the class where I've put the whiteboard "pens" down in the middle of a lesson often enough.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Well, I have finally worn out Bupa.

Looks this the next half of the year is going to be expensive.

    Out patient limit?

Happened to a friend and an understanding doctor kept her in to use her in patient allowance rather than see her as an out patient.

Also a lot of doctors have a paid-by-insurance rate and a pay-me-direct rate.

Nope. Not a complication arising from but a separate chronic illness from the original one. It seems they were letting one chronic illness slip through as pretty much everything everything was complications arising from but a potential separate chronic illness, no go. Chronic illness not covered, acute complications arising from are.

Its not the end of the world and we cannot complain, we have had 'our money's worth'.

Edit: first bout was all pay me direct. I paid some,a benefactor paid a great deal more, That was a house or two. I had some great other treatments at 'special rates ( haha, that's me !) too. E.g. I saw an amazing osteo, a really amazing one, who did a lot of work for my benefactor and people referred by my benefactor and saw me for half price as a favour.

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
