My (very uneductated) guess is that Graves is an auto-immune disease (your immune system starts attacking your own cells for some very non-understood reason). Antibodies are just one of the weapons of the immune system, and they can look for them in blood. Seeing as you've mentioned thyroid, I'd guess they'd look for antibodies directed against the thyroid gland/ things it produces.
Hope that makes some kind of sense, and more importantly that things go well for you.
It is an auto-immune disease. The problem with auto-immune diseases is they tend to come in packs... and from what I've seen different doctors diagnose the same symptoms as different diseases.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Anyway, in light of advice today to stay rested and not over exerted and relaxed, DH and I have moved four and a half tonnes of topsoil tonight, in the dark.

You guys have a funny idea of relaxation and non-exertion!

I have barely moved for weeks. In health lows my life is incredibly sedentary. The things is loved doing physically are mainly gone. I USED to be extremely busy. Now I am sedentary. I do some stuff in the mornings, but sometimes barely get it done. This year we have planted a tiny corner of veg, after not being able to last year at all, for example, I just coul
Don't manage it, bar pots of things. I don&'the have the energy, say, for a full time job. I am not sure sometimes how it would be possible to be more sedentary than some weeks I have, Unless I didn't have to let dogs and chickens out.
I just have energy tonight.
. Lots of the time we do stuff I have to mainly cheer DH on.
Tonight I have energy and it seems doing something is a productive way of venting less positive emotions. Plus we now have achieved something.0 -

Same forecast here. Popped to the supermarket on the way home then it was straight into the front garden to try out my new tree loppers for an hour or so in case that's the only opportunity this weekend. Enjoy the plant shopping expedition tomorrow

Have the job done IS relaxing. And actually moving my body and feeling able to is enjoyable.
It was exerting, very.
. But.......makes a change. I sort of feel that I'm just as well doing what feel right for me. I obviously did less than DH, I mainly filled barrows and raked.
We filled our two raised beds, But don't have enough to replace top soil removed in building works so will need to order more, but will wait till rest of garden done for that probably but not definitely.0 -
I understand that when they are not working their method of relaxation can not be described as exertion free....
My relaxation isn't exactly something that anyone would consider calming either.
Viva, if you were in DR2, what do you think?
Running order seems good IMO (again done by the EBU, with Denmark the only country to choose their place), although if I'm honest, I've been preparing some notes for DR3/live tomorrow, that I haven't been able to pay much attention. If you saw three idiots sat with iPads not paying attention, that's what we were doing (in English, French and Russian)
The UK is on last tomorrow, right before voting opens, however is one of the firm favourites anyway, so I can't see too much of an issue with the positioning on stage.
My back is killing me. Looking forward to getting back to the hotel, finishing my lunch and jumping into a lovely hot bath!
See you guys tomorrow!💙💛 💔0
