I am already prescribed iron. Really need to find a burst of oomph from somewhere, I have an 8am meeting tomorrow morning with a board director and need to be a lot more switched on than I am.

Congrats on the new raised beds - envy envy! :o:)

If you have iron prescribed for anaemia it will take a while to kick in. And you may have some troublesome GI probs depending on what iron it is.

Hope you get a good night's sleep and feel up to scratch for your morning meeting. If anyone wanted to meet me at 8am they'd have to come here, let themselves in, and wake me up! Fortunately I'm retired, so it's unlikely to happen. ;):o:)

    Thinking of you, Gen.

I just cried, including snot, over Mr Selfridge. My best friend text me to let me know "It's starting again on ITV+1" so we're watching it for the second time. It was brilliant, so I'm sure it will be again.

I've got a bit more work to do for tomorrow, then I've got the final episode of the second season of Game of Thrones to watch. Can't wait!

I have been away for the weekend, in Dublin.
Never been there before. It's a lovely place, seems very prosperous with prices to match but also a lot of aggressive beggars.
I also had my purse pinched from my bag while we waited at a bus stop (outside a disused jail, as it happens!) Luckily it only had about €40 in it; my other purse which had UK money and my credit cards wasn't taken, and my passport was also in the bag. Could have been a lot worse but leaves a nasty taste behind.

I'd like to visit Dublin. Particularly Dalkey, as I'm a Flann O'Brien fan. I suspect that Atmospheric Road is probably as underwhelming as Cosmic Avenue in Bedford:D

Thanks all. I'm back out again. No obvious superpowers yet. We'll see in good time.

A quick pit stop to say that Dan Ariely is not self-published. He's with Harper Collins.

Unfortunately, that means my entire argument falls to pieces. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
