My meeting for this term with the occupational health nurse is tomorrow. I am intending to ask her
    1) How can I get better faster? (I don't feel mental state making much if any progress over the last year or two.)
    2) Is the counsellor I'm currently seeing the right kind of help for me to be getting? (She's good at what she does but I'm not convinced that what she does is what I need.)
    3) Ought I to get my GP to test me for anything? And if so then what - iron levels or cortisol or anything else?

If NP have any suggestions to answer any of those or add further questions I ought to ask, then replies before 8:30 am tomorrow will certainly be read in time for the meeting, and replies before 12:20 will probably read in time. Thanks.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Garlic's not a problem - all 3 of us like garlic.

Does one buy brandade (from where?) or make it (how?)?

I'll dig out my recipe and email you tomorrow? Would that suit?

I love it , and liked it as a kid and I found fish difficult often to learn to love.

Google is a good way, but there will be hundreds of recipes I guess. I know mine works ok and not too faffy.

But yes, googling a recipe is a good option too :D

Great. I might not suit, that's fine. If ds wanted to tell me what sort of things he wanted to taste or particularly liked I'm happy to think about other ideas for him/ you to consider.

Tonight I fancy tofu, I think it's da0 s's fault as I have been thinking about vegan proteins :D. Tofu is what I normally get fro. Chinese takeaways, so I can be slobby and not too fussy but avoid unknown meat sources, tofu with veg. :)

Isn't just the fact we can talk about what rather than just how 'getting them fed' is happening progress? I think the questions are worth asking and it's also easy to let health become habit, but not sure that applies to you Lydia.

I definitely think you should have a physical health screen. If nothing else it crosses stuff off the list and eases your mind and takes a pressure off any wondering....

Today we resolved that a small item of work to be done this year was blocking up a door.

There was five hours of other stuff, but this was the highlight. I'm also going to buy a cheap back door. Enough is enough.

I saw that in the news a while ago. That's the PM's brother, Alex Cameron, defending, right?

Is that why they call it 'bro bono' in your linked pdf? :)

    19. Mr Alex Cameron QC has appeared bro bono in these proceedings to advance the argument on behalf of the defendants that I should stay the proceedings because they are unrepresented through no fault of their own and that I should not grant an adjournment because the possibility that at some unknown date in the future an adequately funded advocate may become available is no basis on which to grant an adjournment.
