I'm E too. Very E. When I am interacting with people, I feel more or less normal, although realistic about not wanting to commit to doing things. I can have feelings about trivial things (although not much about really big things). As soon as the people are not there, though, I have no fuel of my own on which to run.

Thank you. Good night all. :hello:

    I'm I and became even more I.

I'm not an emotional person in public, so there was no difference to people when I had my breakdown, in private though, I was completely falling apart and unable to function properly.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Sounds worrisome. What's happened? :(
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Meh. I did what I could for a couple of hours to fix things and then took myself to the pub. Two glasses of wine later, it can bother me tomorrow.

My pharmacology knowledge is a good 30+ years out of date, but I seem to remember there used to be a lot of overlap about treatments for anxiety and depression, as one condition could trigger the other.

Indeed, I was diagnosed as depressed for years until I saw a consultant who made the more accurate diagnosis of chronic phobic anxiety - which in me also produces depressive symptoms with increasing anxiety.

Hope it's fixable tomorrow, but in the meantime I like your approach

Looking on the bright side, I suppose, 2 glasses of wine can drown the problem - you didn't have a 3-bottle-of-wine day.....

Oh doozergirl. You seem to be having a run of not great luck at the moment. I hope things start feeling like they're getting better very soon.
