Thanks Tahlullah : ). I disagree that it's OK for them to go on having to put up with me being like this for the long term.

What one thing, what single one thing do you thing would make most practical difference. Ironing? I doubt it. Cooking? You're not really foodies so probably not?

What single thing would you think might make a difference to how today finishes?

Making DD go to bed on time, so I get a decent amount of "guaranteed pester-free time with sole use of the space and stuff" before going to bed myself without staying up until stupid o'clock.

At least I don't need to feed her tonight. She has been fed by the friend who had her after school because my inset day didn't finish in time for me to pick her up.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    How annoying.

How badly wrong is the mismatch?

Its not that its heinous exactly, il just wouldn't have bought it. I needed it to be what I bought because ....well, various reasons.

I bought something VERY heavy! This is very light.

As doozergirl might say ' TRAMPOLINE'.

( its not a trampoline, and I'm not taddy)

If it's not what it was described as (and hence you wouldn't have bought it), in the first instance I'd inform the seller of this. I'd also point out that the delivery was inapproriate in light of the, well lightness :) (or whatever else it was). Assuming they don't play ball, I'd open a dispute.
You haven't got what you were led to believe you were buying.

Unless, selling it with a more accurate description somehow means you would make a profit. In which case I'd keep and re-sell it ;)

My pointer was way over to the right.... like about 90% or more over to the right.

I was about mid-way on their scale. Above average but below the threshold.

I had the same problem as I do with most of these quizzes - I needed a 'sometimes' or 'it depends' option!

    Ok, what's on time?

    Can you....bargain with her?

Take your tired, overwhelmed worn out inset day body and say, before you go to bed can ( for example ) have one dance with you to ONE song, then sleep, because I have LOTS of work to do, and I need to get it done! and you need to sleep and then dance like idiots to a song! have a great giggle! a hug and say! ' not one peep special darling, I love you, thank you for cooperating' then suggest if she cannot sleep she might read but that you must NOT be disturbed tonight.

Maybe even bribe her with....if you do tomorrow we might do/get X

( I I know its not good, but you need a means to an end, she is bright and the lure of the shop or a thing with you might well win out)

Of she does, you of course have to summon energy to praise enthusiastically, but worry about that if she does it.....

Can you think of a trade off before bed and for tomorrow?

I read to DDs, my delivery is quite boring enough to have them asleep in 5 minutes....we are having hunger games (I seem to remember these might have be loaned to me by a very nice person) which for me is again having watched the movies since last reading and I always want to carry on but DDs being asleep precludes that.
    I think....

No, selling with accurate description makes it worth less not more. Which I think is the less generous interpretation of genuine mistake to what has happened here.

I'm assuming it's a private seller rather than a 'shop'?
I'd still raise a dispute (shop would be covered by distance selling regs though, making it a whole lot easier).
