    I've been Money Tipped!
I thought the point of rough clothes was that stuff could happen and it wouldn't matter....

Of course, but the point of rough water proof jackets is to be able to do stuff that doesn't matter and stay dry!

We've just finally given up outside. We. Made really good efforts and decided as it was damp to light the dodging placed stumps and tend, but the heavens just opened. New jacket holes were placed under a bit of broken guttering, Don't think it made much difference to be honest, it BUCKETED down. All the drains are overflowing , there is beautiful lightening right overhead and I'm guessing there will be a flash flood at the end of the road.

Its AMAZING, to know we can come in, turn heating on and have a hot bath now. :j:j:j. Dogs are having soup for supper ( they got cold and wet too) and I am watching DH stand just outside under he verandah with steam rising off him, :).

Glad I mowed the lawn yesterday. It's tipping it down here as well. Had to go to the shops and only the local gargae was open (and mobbed).

The Avalanches were my Aussie fave band (before that it was Men At Work)

Today was a potent mix of:
    a) weather not great so didn't fancy spending time in the garden (or out for a walk)
    b) shops not open
    c) procrastination

I hadn't planned to do much around the house, but started pottering around and trying to get rid of a few more cardboard boxes. Ventured into the dining room (more accurately abandoned bedroom now storage room). Got rid of a couple of boxes, gave the blocked up doorway into the kitchen a longing look. Then I decided to have a bit of a prod:20140420_140932_zpszrcaquhi.jpg
    A short while later:

It'll probably be a while before the other side is unblocked - there are a worktop and 2 under-counter fridges there. Having said that, this wasn't on today's plans so who knows.

I also made myself a little work area in the corner of the living room :20140420_154114_zpsraddtfkt.jpg

It's not an attractive desk, but it's functional (one of the desks that was left here). I'm hoping it's added incentive to get a move on typing so I can get rid of it :rotfl:

I'm sure I've got their first album somewhere (probably on mini disc ). I should try and find it. And bring back my stereo (think it's going to live in the will-be-dining room).

Made it to parents' place last night, after finally getting my ar5e into gear.

OH and Isaac arrived from Israel this morning, and apparently had a fantastic time. But hardly any kip, they met up with half of Israel over the 6 days, and then on Saturday morning got up at 3am, drove to Masarda (sp?), and with a distant cousin Isaac's age, climbed up it to watch sunrise.

Then they spent the day on the beach, got a bit of sleep, and went to the airport for a 2.30am check-in.

Isaac managed to get some kip in the car / airport / train etc, OH is knackered, and had a long sleep before (late) Easter lunch. Isaac and Bruv have been outside playing football since 6pm, and are still going!

Ours was the other way round - rainy and cloudy all day, cleared up about half 5 and is now a glorious spring evening, sunny.

How dare it auto-correct someone who clearly has a better grasp of the english language than it does.

    I hate auto-correct.
