Got my haematologist appointment next week on Wednesday. I'm quite excited to understand what happened to the lymphoma.
Will keep you posted.
Good luck Gen, it's all sounding very promising now.neverdespairgirl wrote: »Yesterday I had a tiny white spot on my eyelid, one of those that looks invisible but feels like someone lodged a bit of gravel in your eye.
Today, I look like I've lost a pub fight - the ideal look for a barrister on her way to court! One red, puffy, nasty-looking punched eye.....
.
It is a good look - you will scare the opposition; if they don't let you win, you can give them a look that says, 'And you should see the other barrister...':D0 -

In a hotel room.
I ought to leave it at that and let you imagine a night of alcohol fuelled debauchery with a man whose name I barely remember in an attempt to suggest I have a rock and roll lifestyle.
Actually, the fire alarm kicked off after I'd fallen asleep and in my haste to get dressed, I tripped over the duvet.:o0 -

I giggled. Sorry.0 -
Major step forward for youngest son...he went to the big town with friends on Monday to visit the cinema!
I was quite nervous about it all but not too worried (she says with nails bitten to the quick), as the girls are all very protective over him and direct him as needs be/stick to him like glue to keep him calm as they understand his difficulties.
I think that is an excellent testament to how good these youngsters are, they know youngest is different and more vulnerable but they take it all in their stride, don't bully him for being different and look out for him to make sure he is ok...and this goes not just for these particular friends but pretty much all of his year group at school, some even think he is pretty cool. He is very popular at school (not that he realises it) because of his sometimes Planet Zog mumblings or his very straight non nonsense talking...oh and his knowledge.
He loved it and wants to do it again but not too soon...the spending of money made him go EEEKKKK very loudly! :rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

EA didn't ask. I did say I had an AIP though. Part of the doozergirl hard sell tactics (trademark)Doozergirl wrote: »You do know it all comes from me?!
I am exceptionally grateful to you both. Words are difficult to do service to the gratitude to be fair (Perhaps I'll have to come & sort your garden to make amends;) ). The advice/tips/guidance have been so helpful it ain't true. On reflection, I do believe the advice I got when doozerboy called me & guided me through the making an offer stage really tipped things in my favour. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Weird 2 messages I was sure I posted last night are not there. We will be interested to hear your news too G. did you ever get the full scan results?
Fingers crossed we may have a new tenant. No more news on the planning front.Well I got the results as far as I know them which is an incredible disappearing lymphoma. No idea beyond that hence the haematologist.
I'm more interested than anything else now.
How is the pain/op recovery going? Well I hope.In a hotel room.

Bugs let hope you heel quickly.
My ankle, which has been troubling so much for so long and upsetting my knee feels much better since Friday, bizarrely.
I spent the day in a particularly lovely pair of day time heels that are almost always comfortable and not too high, but not too low. I think maybe taking any stretch out of the tendon allowed it to relax a good long while. I have noted that my mule type slippers with a little heel ( which I mainly own for comedic effect) are always really comfortable though.
I have been avoiding heels because thought would hurt the stupid leg but as my body is better than has been for a while I think its time to dig them out.
As a rider ( even a non riding one) I don't want to wear heels too much without being able to counter stretch out through, and risk too much contraction. Just ion case I can get back up there one day,0
