. We planted one but an ash branch fell in it and sliced it in two, the chances must have been infinitesimal.....
But I bought this year a forest pansy. Its past its best now. But here is a close up...
It flowers all up its trunk and branches, its very gaudy but welcome on a grey very early spring day and IMO a welcome blast of a less easily achieved colour at that time of year.
I'll be doing a lot of thinking across this year about what flowers/colours I can get into the garden. I think I'll have a lot of tubs/pots & would like some cascading type plants. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
I made seed and fat blocks the perfect size for my bird feeders holder and put one out this morning.
Its melted.
The hedge sparrows, of which we have a plethora, don't mind, they seem to prefe eating off the grass, I only hope they get it all before tonight and the rats come put for what's left.
Hedge sparrows are such dear little things. Totally horrified by people, scatter if they see movement, but they now tolerate the dogs ( who ignore them) being out there on the grass chomping bones.
The scattering of them in itself is quite beautiful. Plain little birds, but delightful in their habits, shy and such pretty movers.0 -

No idea if it's any good/use .... but it "works automatically" in England/Wales and enables you to log any crime from anywhere on your phone.
Great. Can I report the colour that the new owners of my old house have painted the front door? It's still bothering me.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Maybe it looks less gaudy close up?
Its in the far corner of my garden in a pot ATm. Generally I think quite carefully about colour, and how bright colours pull things forward and make things seem smaller and so on, but I think this might go in there anyway because its like a pink shard of Lightening on a grey day. Really shockingly aggressive. On a grim day I think its not the wort think in the work to have ones eyes drawn to something so harshly joyous. I am just thinking a bit longer before committing it to the ground.0 -

At least the nerves/nerve ending appear to be working!:o
Right up there with therapist finder.com which shouldn't but always makes me laugh.
Victor Lewis Smith, TV reviewer in the Standard, used to like that play on words. He also had the great idea for a children's book: "The Magical Faraway Land Inside the Abandoned Fridge".
Yeah, I'm tired but getting there.
I'm trying really hard not to be grumpy and doing ok. I am recognising my limits though and simply saying "No".
I spent today's economics strategy meeting sitting on the floor. I can't stand for an hour from 8 am and then work effectively all day so I sat in the corner. If someone has a problem I'd be happy to discuss. Happier than them by the end of the conversation I would guess.0 -

You've good reason mate. Far better reason than I. Don't dwell on it. Focus on getting better & having fun with the generalissimo's!:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Just tried to provide money evidence.... failure to log into one account, new passcode being sent. Totted it all up and know how much I have now. It's nice when you log in and it's all still there.0
