Depends what counts as whippersnapper
Older than I look (unless you look too closely)!
Could be a lot worse - like being a lot younger than you look!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

144,000 registered users..... which means 143,995 spammers registered and posting... which is why the bandwidth runs out at the end of each month.
Banned about 20 while I was in, but that's not a workable solution as there are thousands of them!!
Can you set it so that you have to approve new members? I had to do that just over a year ago on my site as we had an influx of spammers, after a short while, the amount of spammers trying to register was down to a trickle and now it is once in a blue moon.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Sorry.
I talk a lot. I know I do. I get stuff done too though when I'm not grotty. I'll be quiet a lot of the day tomorrow so...
????????????????
What on earth are you on about? There's been no suggestion that you post too much, just that when both you and PN were absent, the thread slowed down a bit. That's probably because the rest of us didn't have your fascinating comments to which to respond, just as much as it's about your own posts not being there.neverdespairgirl wrote: »LIR, we love and adore you precisely the way you are. So don't even think about not posting!
What NDG said.I've always been a bit screwed upit's just that the wind changed and I might have got stuck there!
I'll be fine. Just need my biological clock to stop ticking quite so loudly!
Most people are screwed up. Most people think they're more screwed up than other people, but clearly they can't all be. I found this book helpful.
You've had some bad experiences. It's normal to have some scars and some tender spots. What I think I do see from your posts, even though they are only your side of the stories you choose to tell, is that you are in a process of getting better from those bad experiences, not stuck allowing yourself to be defined by them.
Hugs about the clock. I remember when mine was getting deafening and although I had a bloke, I was despairing of ever getting him to agree to have any kids. It's a horrible feeling.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
DD responded that we would only have "grand rabbits":(
DD insists that her animal is my "grand hamster".A mate sent me an email which describes my news very well, tentatively awesome.

The life partner bit is important to me too. :think:Do you know anyone who's bereaved?
