Is there an option to ban every one then lock it, private it and let in just the " nicest " ?

No, it's a very dated backend .... nothing's clear, obvious, findable. Everything has to be done one by one, across a few screens. Want to disapprove one post - that takes a click, scroll, click, confirm, click to get back to the previous screen.

If its just a few to register maybe on can ask say three people to be on board for registering people who are nice?

What I need to do is install something entirely new, more modern, controllable..... where I can easily give admin permissions to you lot.

Here's the first NP Quest for house items. The living room floor is laminate - I want some big rugs.

I don't know if I want a 6'4' (or 6x8') in front of each of two sofas..... or if I want a much bigger rug that covers most of the spare floor.

I'll also want a small rug just inside the patio doors.

So, the first "taste/style" question is which would be better, one bigger rug or two smaller ones?

And the next item is: find that rug! Key feature is price, not style :)

I like: animal prints and geometric designs. No flowers...... and I do have a hankering for shagpile.

Bad meeting. Same old ground getting covered again and again and again. Missing out key bits that should be covered. Almost everyone else in the room nodding and smiling. Stupidly sat somewhere I couldn't get out easily, then had a strong urge to walk out. A large part of my reason for being in job is change (processes and ways of thinking). I didn't realise that when I applied for it, and boy is it frustrating.

A colleague talked me down from a metaphorical roof. I stopped off on the way home to buya rather large bag of crisps.

re mortgage - colleague mentioned perhaps part of stress was from buying house and resulting pressure. I pointed out I could rent rooms, or sell up and move back to parents :D

Crisps fix a lot of things .... but I'd suggest a veg out session with your favourite takeaway this Friday or Saturday night, just to be sure :)

Ikea have an "add to list" feature.... so I've signed up and am pawing through their website poking things onto the list that I might consider/want. e.g. chest of drawers at £45.

    http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/30053921/#/70178603

    Some Alberts: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/00111994/

Do you have an Ikea Family card? If not, as well as free tea and coffee during the week they often have money off random items. They've had that chest of drawers on offer before (I bought it then). Doesn't cost anything to join.

Style, one big, practicality, two small : more easily machine was able. ;)

Re recycling, I suggest making it part of a daily routine, a march into garden, putting recycling and rubbish out. Seeing what's what outside. Are you going to get plants? Having a reason to go out and see them is valuable. :)

    .

That's because admin never goes there ..... :)
If I could set you all you as "post without approval" it'd be OK. I think I set it up so that once you've posted a certain number (3? 5?) there's no more approval required, but the system's so shockingly old hat that I've never got the mojo to sit and learn how to use it :)

I have 144,000 registered users .... all spamming posts .... and it'd be a full-time job just logging in several times a day to go through all that lot ... if you let me know your username there I can try to find your posts and approve them ....

    Not much help, I know....

Did have, years ago - it'll still be somewhere, but registered to me at a previous address. never been near to an Ikea except 2007-2009 (when I bought two boxes and two plates) .... and now, but I haven't visited the one about 20-25 miles away as I wanted to "save the fun" for when I actually had somewhere to use/put things.
