BB speed more or less exactly the same as with O2. No change in Line Rental service.

As with you I'm saving a great deal over BT/O2 so nothing to complain about.

My broadband is slightly faster and has only had once instance of downtime in 5 months.

I had 1571 switched off , as it kicked in before I could reach the phone, so annoyed family calling. The time allowed before it kicks in cannot be changed.

My one grouse is that they have done away with line rental saver, with no intention of reinstating it this time (as they did a year ago). This makes their line rental considerably dearer than from companies offering the saver option.

Yes, hopefully they will offer a deal to renew for another year.

Is the Sky-hub any better than the O2 modem? (I've the O2 Thomson IV)

I believe that mine is . It has a better looking case, too, with large lights so you can see what is working, from a distance.

Mine was finally switched over yesterday.

Line sync speed and speedtest results appear to be more or less the same - but I haven't tested at peak time.

Two things i noticed are that my ping was a lot slower - used to be around 25-30 now around 60, and I am now connected to ADSL whereas it was ADSL2+ on O2.
Hopefully the Ping will improve/was a one off - i'm sure my Xbox addicted son will let me know if there are issues there.
I am very close to exchange, less than 1km. Does the ADSL2+ thing matter if speeds are the same?

Still using O2 wireless router V and still paying £13 per month which i was before.
(We are very heavy users, up to 10GB/day and were very happy with o2 at that price. I don't want to be tied into a 12 month contract with Sky until i'm sure I'm happy - I'm tied to BT until May for phone rental and plan to consider options then.)

Phoneline: Now Sky (Caller Display / 1571 now active)

    Broadband: Sky BB @3.55 Mpbs (down) 0.66 (up) (o2 was 14.22 / 1.13)

HUB set-up was easy, (though the o2 modem still worked) changed hub admin/network passwords and broadcast name easily.

compared to Tesco, sky bb is fantastic....only annoyance for me has been the extra payment they will take from me(signed up for £12.50 deal).....txt msge from them advised £22.10 coming out this month!.when queried I,m told this is normal practice to pay extra 2nd month.
