Tsb plus account 5%

What do you mean by failed?
Sometimes when you do a large transfer from Santander to a mew payee, it can take 24hrs to appear as it triggers a second level of security checks on the Santander side. After this the payments appear instantly.
Not sure what large is but sent 3 faster payments from my Santander 123 account today, £1, £45 then £500.
The 1st 2 arrived and the £500 is still to make it.
Have sent a faster payment for £80000 from a previous Santander account before with no hold up though.
Will wait until tomorrow before sweating on the £500.0 -
I have 2 classic plus accounts next to each one there is an "upgrade account" button.

I've come home to a letter from TSB declining my application for a current account.
Not sure what that's about, because all the ones I've applied for are open and funded.0 -
Have scrolled through this thread, but no-one seems to be having the same problems as me when trying to open this account!
On the second page I'm filling in ANNUAL GROSS SALARY (BEFORE TAX) and MONTHLY NET INCOME (AFTER TAX) in the format "£XX,000" and "£X,000" respectively (substituting actual figures for the Xs). When I click on to the next page I then get these two items highlighted in pink with the message "We're sorry, but the details you entered aren't in the right format. Please check them and try again."
I think that this may have something to do with the fact that the first figure I'm inputting is not actual salary but the amount of money that my husband transfers to me each year in the form of housekeeping/allowance. The second figure is therefore one-twelth of the first figure.
I can't think what else might be causing this problem! This is my first TSB account (I have a Lloyds current account) and have tried on and off over the weekend to open my account, but with no luck.
Any advice/guidance would be much appreciated!0 -
@Pennie1
have u tried it without the commas ,Swagbucks - Apr 14 - Nov 19PayPal £1745 Amazon £2285 John Lewis £170 Mastercard £3800 -
just a tip to you all, if you reset your password and memorable info it is a ball ache to sort out, as i have just found out.
short story :- funded 1 account with £500 from nationwide, transaction showed up immediatly in tsb so sent another £1500.
tsb had timed out had to log back in, my login details were not been accepted and trust me i was entering the correct info, 3 times i tried on the 4th i thought sod i'll just reset them both.
picked the same info again, all good, 4 digit pin pops up on screen you then get a phone call and enter this number so far so good, the web page then redirects to another page with a reference number and please call this number to complete your info reset..........
called the number robotic answer machine asks for various info half of which she does not recognise, finally get a human only to be told we cannot confirm password and memorable date resets you need a 6 digit security number which will take 3-5 days to reach me i then need to call them back to authorise the reset.

As above, just type in the numbers, the web page will add in the commas if needed.0 -
Thanks to you all for your replies.
Yes, it works without the commas (hurray!) - but on the basis that that was the first (and most obvious) permutation that I tried yesterday, I'm still rather bemused as to why it should suddenly work now!!!0
