Contracted HIV in "middle age"

I'm only two years older than her. I wonder if she spent her younger years without a TV and not going out and seeing all the billboards with the HIV messages on them! It is one of the main things I remember from the 80's, so much so it was a big part of educating my teens.

I think she is just after publicity.

I reckon so, but she probably thinks she is doing it for the right reasons, and that people might talk about her naivete (?) and it may persuade some people who are on the dating scene to be more cautious.

HIV aside, she must have heard of other sexually transmitted diseases?
