let me tell you what not to ignore
a proper LBC (Letter Before Claim) , listed as exactly that on the letter and signed by an actual solicitor or by UKPC or the landowner themselves
an MCOL from Northampton or from Salford
if you use the search box and those words for this so-called "solicitor" , you will see what a retired solicitor said about them, follow her advice (lazydaisy) which is exactly what post #50 told you to do and clearly you ignored that advice and posted again
you need to do some of this research yourself and look for any forum examples on advice given , which is what I do even if I dont have these chase up letters
you should not ask what we would do if we were you, that is your choice
BUT you should follow the advice already given and search for answers if told to0

Thanks FisherJim - I have looked and found some interesting threads.
Thanks RedX - I do appreciate any advice given and was only asking for an opinion as previously mentioned I'm not as knowledgeable on this subject so thought it best to ask.
surely it doesn't hurt to get opinions on what to do as I thought that's what the forum was for.0

nope, its what the forum is for IF you cannot find the answers you need from previous advice, otherwise its just groundhog day , also bear in mind you were asked NOT to post about any more such letters, just about an LBC or an MCOL
I also disagree because if you want legal advice you should pay for it , this forum is about exchanging information but none of us should be telling YOU what to do unless we are qualified, otherwise its just advice and in legal cases you should not be asking for opinions, just proper legal advice, which lazydaisy has already given
my point was that lazydaisy (a retired solicitor) gave HER qualified advice about this over 6 months ago and I doubt the advice has changed so I believe you should follow HER advice because she is a qualified person to give it
I also noted having read this thread that you have been asked to use the search tool on more than one occasion, which is what I did and found the lazydaisy advice in 30 seconds using the search word of smallclaimssolicitors, something you could easily have done yourself
the link is here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4881672 where you will notice I gave links to other forum members about it in january of this year
its also worth noting there have been news stories etc on here, on tv and on the radio about wonga using fake solicitors letters to chase up debtors, same with npower , halifax and many other companies , so the trick is spotting the real from the imaginary
any letter asking you to contact the debt collector is a debt collector letter
when you use a library for research you dont write a book, you borrow and read the reference books and any other tools they have to aid your quest , but you would not ask the librarian what you should do about a particular topic , other then maybe ask them to help you find the info you seek , a forum is the modern equivalent of the library , as is the internet and google. If you were writing a book, you would not ask the library goers and workers for advice on the plot line or characters or book title either ; etc
now you have my link , use it to find the topic I mentioned so that you actually learn how to do it, then follow THAT ADVICE and not mine or fisherjims opinions , because I would follow the advice of an ex-solicitor who is knowledgeable in these matters and not anybodys opinion
any forum is easy to use when its used correctly and the forum tools are used
ps:- on page one an opinion advised you to complain to the BPA and to the DVLA due to no NTK being issued. you have not replied as to the outcome of these 2 particular and very important complaints
pps:- on page 2 post #29 back in March 2014 4cr told you they were helping you on this off the forum, again you have not reported on the outcome of this either (4cr is very knowledgeable on these matters so her opinion would be extremely valued, especially if she got 2 others cancelled for you)
so my current opinion is that you have ignored previous opinions so far0
