So does mine but then they'd hardly expect you to pay in cash when it costs £80-£100 a time!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

No, it's mainly down to the age of the store.
Our local sainsburys still uses pound coins for trolling, whereas all the others don't, and it's just down to the fact that it's been there for years and been refurbed for ages.0 -

Yikes! You must be rich!
As for the topic at hand, the only things I spend cash on are public transport (not very often) and the occasional sandwich at work, though that's somewhat expensive so I avoid it when I can.
Everything else goes on 0% credit card so that I can stooze a few quid on interest. The exception is the eternally annoying Lidl which doesn't take credit cards... hate that.0 -
beer. in a couple of pubs that don't take cards, and our local club.0

The sandwich man who visits our office only takes cash (sadly this is now only a payday treat).
My hairdresser only takes cash - he rents a chair rather than being staff, and he hasn't got his act together yet to get a card machine.Unfortunately I've been diagnosed as having brain cancer and am currently undergoing treatment. More details as I get them...0
