Argument with Building society, it seems I [STRIKE]have[/STRIKE] had an online account, but you can only operate it, in a branch, the interest rate dropped as as per our leaders advise :money: I tried on line to move it, failed, so ended up driving to CMK, to 'discuss' my options and ended up closing the account, and asking for a cheque which I got, now I need to sort out where I am gonig to save my money..........tomorrows job, beofre I do the mowing,......Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100/100miles

Quick question related to today's list: Do you think I can mow my grass yet, it is fairly dry and growing like crazy?
Yes if it is dry enough, I'm doing my neighbours on Wednesday, mine is not growing yet.

You're full of beans!
Haggle with VM, I think I'm happy with my new deal, DH seems to be but as he hates doing the negotiating he would be happy that I'd done it.
LW well done (I haven't done mine yet
) :T
Just going to make a cuppa and tidy up from dinner then I'll do the list. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hi all
neveah healing vibes to you
LW not sad at all
mumto5 thinking of you
Well today is my 1st of 3 days off from the paid stuff and I've managed:
WM
Hung washing out on outdoor line
Finished painting the landing
Painted the wall in the shower room where the paint started to peel (only painted it 6 weeks ago, I've painted it with a special undercoat that I hope will work)
Painted smallest spare room
Washed bathroom walls to remove the residues of paper that I didn't shift the first time.
Landing, Hallway & LR hettyed
Washing brought in from the line
I'm exhausted now - won't be long before I go up to bedfordshire

You did say you'd be cheering us on!
I have mown the lawn
It took me three times as long to do as it should have done because I had to get the mower from the back of the storage box and put it together, and then I had to pull out as many as possible of the bluebells which are coming up in the lawn. The moles have had a field day, and what was a lovely smooth lawn when it was laid last autumn is now a lumpy bumpy mess
The mower is now at the front of the storage box and fits in without having to be dismantled
DH has nearly finished stripping the utility, and the carpenter is coming on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week to box in pipes, put up cupboards and shelves, fit worktops and change a door
DD has rung, and DGSs are coming to stay with us for 2 or 3 nights in April :j
Good work, deco :T

Evening all. Before the paid stuff I got what I needed to do done in the LR and swept downstairs - new hoover arrives tomorrow thank goodness. Then it was time for paid stuff which should have been a long day, except that my car broke down on the M62 while DD was using it, so we had to do a recovery and rescue mission and I had to make my apologies to the boss.
Back now, just eaten and am totally worn out. Early night I think. Catch you all tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Monday Kitchen and Dining Room
Basic Flying
[STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor
Wipe out the fridge
Wipe the work tops - removing everything first
Wipe all the handles in these rooms[/STRIKE]
Deep Cleaning
Wipe up high on top of cupboards, shelves etc
[STRIKE]Give your sink a really good clean and shine those taps[/STRIKE]
Do you toothbrushes need replacing - the old ones are great for cleaning around taps, oven dials etc
I hoovered & steam mopped the floors yesterday so just gave the floor a Hoover today. I never managed to get the top of the cupboards done today but it was done not too long ago so I'm not going to stress about getting them done
! Kitchen is now looking spotless, probably until tomorrow when it gets trashed again.
I was working all day so never managed to get the garden done but I've just changed my shifts at work & will be finished at 1pm from now on so I'm hoping that gives me plenty of time to do my household chores/baking/cooking/etc......well that's my plan anyway :rotfl:52 Week Challenge £15/£13780 -
Hi all. Busy day at work, then had to hang about until DS had finished his footie match to bring him home. Came home, had tea late, sorted the washing, gave the kitchen a good going over, washed the floor, made a shepherds pie for tomorrow (parents are coming over to look after DS2 and the dog while we are at hospital). Just got finished.
So tired I cant think straight. Off to bed. Long day tomorrow as I am at work in the morning then 100 mile round trip to hospital for DSs treatment in the afternoon.
Oooh I sound happy dont I? Sorry, just tired.
Hugs all xx0 -
