Hello flyfriends. Another not so great day here. Thanks Dusty for the interview vibes for DD, the next interview is on Thursday. She really needs to get out of her current job where they are just taking the mickey and on minimum wage too.

Anyhow, the car needs a new engine, full story of my despair is on my diary page, so I am just fed up really.

No flying here today except for putting the new hoover together (all by myself) and whizzing it around downstairs when I should have been doing the paid stuff. Thought it might be quite exciting, but found out its just a hoover.

Anyway, DD needs some badges sewing on her Scout shirt as she hasn't learnt to sew herself, so I'd better get cracking.

I hope everyone has a pleasant evening.

Big hugs and loves for those in need, sounds as though that's quite a few of us! Thankfully, I have a big heart and arms like a chimp ;)

Got a migraine at the paid stuff today, which resulted in me not being able to talk. My client was lovely when I thrust a scribbled note in her hand explaining that I needed to go home, stat. Just made it back in time for he spew-fest. Lovely.

Felt a bit more human after a nap, even managed to take the boys to the barbers. Hair decluttered, they're both looking v. smart.

DH has just left for band rehearsal so we have about to cwtch up with some telly. DS2 has called dibs on my lap, he is still very loving for being almost 9, I hope he doesn't grow out of it any time soon :)

I did WUDUPA after dinner, I'm calling that a flying success :D

    I'm in this week :j
Thanks to Dusty for the list & hugs to all that need them.
Not much happening here - had a big row with DS on Sunday night which resulted in a computer ban for 24 hours. Actually it was lovely as he spent more time with us yesterday, rather than locked away in his room. And he was trying desperately hard to be nice and helpful too. :D I've hardly seen him tonight though, and DH is still at work so its just me and DD.

I've done a few bits of flying & will carry some forward to the weekend.

    Monday Kitchen and Dining Room
    Basic Flying
    [STRIKE]Sweep and mop the floor[/STRIKE]
    Wipe out the fridge
[STRIKE]Wipe the work tops - removing everything first[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Wipe all the handles in these rooms[/STRIKE]
    Deep Cleaning
Wipe up high on top of cupboards, shelves etc
Give your sink a really good clean and shine those taps
[STRIKE]Do your toothbrushes need replacing - the old ones are great for cleaning around taps, oven dials etc[/STRIKE]Decluttering or Gardening
Picnic wear, plastic plates and cups, lunchboxes give them a sort
Do you really need all those sugar sachets you've collected, the free samples you've never used? - decant or bin them - they didn't cost you anything.
Have a good tidy up in the garden, get rid of broken or manky toys, pots etc. Sweep up to make it look better ensuring drain covers are free from leaves etc

Tuesday - Living Room and cloakroom
    Basic Flying
[STRIKE]Clear the floor and clean it[/STRIKE]
Put away all books, DVDs etc
    Dust your electricals
    Clean a window
    Deep Cleaning
    Pull out furniture
    Deweb behind and wipe skirtings
Give the Cloakroom a clean, sort any cupboard in there
    Decluttering
Did you have space for all those DVDs and books you put away or is a cull required?
Empty out any pots of dead plants, old compost, wash out your pots ready for planting/sowing - do you need more compost?

The DW does have the water to it turned on?? and there are no kinks in the pipes etc?

GI.. they did turn the water on didn't they? There should be little tap bits on the water pipe .. red or blue.. they need 1/4 turn to open the valve.. you'll feel a right numpty if that is all it is lol.

Thanks. that was one of the things I tried yesterday. Mine is a little blue tap, and I am not sure which way is on/off, so I tried both just to be sure! Even if this were the case - they were supposed to test it before they left, and they didn't :(

I have done paid stuff today. It was DH's 'rest' day, so he has finished jet washing the patio (now safe for children to use :) ), cut the dog's hair, cleaned the car (in & out) and cooked dinner. he has also washed up!! Bless him :)
