I've done that with our shampoo and conditioner, it limits the amount used. My girls seem to think you need to use half a bottle at a time!!

My DH is the same with shower gel; this time I bought a big 1 litre bottle of Rad0x which comes with a pump, I swear it has been going for a month already and he has only used half, he was going through a 500ml bottle a week before that

    Post HHC update:
    • [STRIKE]Clean the bathroom and mop the floor[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Mop kitchen floor[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Dust and vac the LR[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Clean the gin and orange stain from the LR carpet[/STRIKE]
    • Superglue the backplate from the LR doorknob back together -- DSD broke it yesterday when she slammed the door
    • [STRIKE]Vac the bedrooms[/STRIKE] Apart from mine, apparently, I only realised when I came in after putting the vac away :o
    • [STRIKE]Update debit card info on !Tunes[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Download remote control app for both my phone and my lappy[/STRIKE] Took three attempts but it's done now and works great :D
    • [STRIKE]Call NDN re: poorly customer for update[/STRIKE] -- tried again but she still hasn't answered, worried about her too now(!) as she is 91 and lives alone
    • [STRIKE]Update spreadsheets[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Call sorting office and see if they have found the parcel which they so kindly lost last week [/STRIKE] They called me -- parcel found [muted :T], I will have to pick it up later in the week as I am working every other morning this week so can't have it redelivered :(
    • Fling at least 10 items from my wardrobe
I also emptied all the bins, folded and put away 2 lots of bedlinen, chucked some daffs which were looking rather sorry for themselves and trimmed the stamen from my cut lillies which are opening beautifully :)

I think I will knock through the small pile of ironing before I go for a hard earned (and if I'm honest, much needed :o) shower.

Doorknob glued, doubt it will hold but we'll see.
    Our BR vacuumed!
    Ironing done and put away.

What a difference a day makes! I felt as though this place was a hovel this morning (it probably wasn't that bad but if I'm in a mood, it seems 100 times worse in my mind) but it feels spick 'n' span 'n' lovely now :)

I'm wondering whether I should take my boys to have their hair decluttered straight after school, before we head to The Outlaws for dinner. I get the feeling that if I stop, I will grind to a halt and just want a nana nap...

OK can't resist the sun any more. So far today:
    - tidied various bits left over from dinner guests on Sat (coffee machine, grinder - all the usual "stuff" that I don't get round to clearing)
    - washed up anything un-dishwasherable (good word)
    - wiped all surfaces and did move stuff!
    - swept floor
    - mopped floor
    - checked work emails and organised timetable for the week
    - made a couple of phone calls
    - scored up all tests from Saturday's assessment ready for interpretation and report writing

Just need to clear dining room table ready for student this evening, then I'm going down to greenhouse for some seed sowing.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

What sort of organisation are you volunteering for, JTTOU?

Book department for my local Cancer Research shop.

HHC at 2 never happened, neither did finishing second lunchtime coffee!!! Just woke at 3 after over an hour nap!! :oMust have been more physical than I thought!!!!

Now I am really behind - hope this doesn't happen every Monday or I'll not keep up with the progress I have made so far!

Better get a shift on as DH will be home at 4:15 - he starts at 7 - and we are supposed to be getting in the garden.

You are all doing well enough for me too though, so that's fine - thank youxx
