Thank you for lists. I will trying to get back to flying this week as the house needs it.....and pronto.
I foolishly opened my mouth and invited one of DS's friends and Mother for a play date at my house........so I need to get all the downstairs pristine, and lock up the pack of BD that have been lurking and snarling recently.
I will make a start once I get back from Group BD therapy tomorrow.
Hugs, sticks and spoons ....see you tomorrowThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
I'm in too thanks, although if this weather keeps up it's going to be trying to get the garden under control. Maybe I should list each area like we do rooms.....that should take until about Christmas!!
Also got latest report to write up.
But talking of weather, solar panels had a good day according to the meter reading!!
Have a good week everyone.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
It's tough getting rid of the past but it does free up space for the future.0 -

Morning
I'm in, thank you for the threads.
Had an impressive migraine last night so I'm limiting screen time today.
Lots of appointments this week to fit around. A bright day so far.
Back later x0 -
I am in, thank you Dusty. Two loads of washing out this morning, more to do. Quite a bit of paid stuff and an appointment with DSs psychologist later so its going to be a busy day. Will do what I can!0

Morning flyladies
Hope you're all well, here's hoping this springy weather knocks all of our niggly illnesses on the head!
I have my first 'proper' day off in weeks today, I am so looking forward to some peace and quiet for a few hours. Thankyou for all the sympathy regarding yesterday's whinge, I felt a lot better just for getting it off my chest
Having "words" with DSD helped too, I won't lie to you, her backchat is unacceptable and is usually reserved for DH but she gobbed off to me and I let rip in return
I made the mistake of thinking I was off to a flying start this morning as I have WUDUPA and fed the WM already, then it emerged that DS2 has lost his drinks bottle again, broken the spare drinks bottle I bought last week and lost one school shoe  why is life rarely straightforward?! It would have been a lot easier if he'd mentioned the missing items when I picked him up on Friday afternoon rather than waiting until 8.15 this morning.
Deep breaths, this too shall pass. I'll be back in a bit to compile my list.
Have a great day everyone xx0 -
Good Morning all
The sun is still shining here so I have the first lot of towels in the machine. I've tidied around, put away the laundry and the ironing board, emptied the bins, sent the first email I needed to.
Today I must:
[STRIKE]descale the iron
Food shop at Mr L and Mr M
Read two lots of minutes[/STRIKE]
Send more emails
Check bank accounts
Ring VM
Hoover and Mop
[STRIKE]S&S sinks and toilets[/STRIKE]
if I do all that I'll treat myself to another HH in the front garden to finish the border I started yesterdayThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good morning

I am sort of in this week. Thanks Dusty for the lists.
I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of my new DW :j I have emptied the cupboard under the sink and removed the stair gate in readiness. I have paid the extra for installation (it is an integrated one). This also means that they will take the old one away. It hasn't worked for a month or so, and had been loaded before I realised it had packed in, so it stinks!! I had sprinkled some bicarb in it, but it hasn't done a lot of good
I am really hoping that it is all done before this afternoon, as the baby arrives at 12.15 and I really need the stair gate back on by then!
Other than that, I have 1 load in the WM & I will hang that out when it's done, and 1 more load to do.
I also need to do some studying as it has dawned on me that my research project is due in a month  and I have so much to do!! :eek:0
