I'm in too thanks, although if this weather keeps up it's going to be trying to get the garden under control. Maybe I should list each area like we do rooms.....that should take until about Christmas!!

Brilliant idea, Narc0! My trouble is that I have so much to do that I would end up writing a book :rotfl:

My (no doubt incomplete) to-do list this week and next, in addition to normal flying, general gardening and :coffee: dates:

    - check finances (thanks for the reminder Jazee )
    - send birthday gift to N
    - buy paddling pool for DGS3 (belated birthday gift for DGS3, but he's only 1 so he won't notice that it's late, and anyway he won't be needing it until the weather gets warmer :p)
    - email H re meal
    - attend training session
    - prepare talk for next Thursday
    - type up 5 course units
    - prepare materials for meeting on 24th
    - get DH to strip all the wallpaper in the utility
    - fill holes in utility walls
    - do at least the first coat of paint in the utility
    - ring carpenter re worktops / cupboards / boxing in pipes in utility / putting up shelves in bedroom / curtain rail in DR
    - book the Garden Gang to come and finish off the raised bed

Sticks thrown for Skinty's pack of BDs.

Hope everyone has a good week.

I going to try and be in this week. I've had an awful nights sleep so will be running on coffee today :(
I have so much on my mind, I wish I could switch it off :( I found out a little while ago that my ex husband has been sectioned. I don't who by exactly, the woman from witness care told me. She said the court was waiting for pych. evaluations to be done before the next court date.
The back to work woman I have to see sent my c.v off for some job, she neglected to tell me about it and now can't remember what it was for  So I've had an answerphone message from someone about the job but the sound is so terrible I don't know who she is. So all I have is a mobile number cos I could only hear the area code of the landline. How can I phone them and ask who they are and tell them I know nothing about the job? How bl00dy unprofessional :mad: This has obviously been really worrying me so the anxiety and panic attacks kicked in over the weekend :(

The only good news I have is that my neighbour has started replacing her fence :j two new panels so far and a patch up job on a third. She said she's getting more this week! I think she's only doing it cos she wants to exchange. They are over crowded, her, her son (10), her daughter (about 2) and her mum, in a 2 bed
Right I'm off to work on my list . . .

I just missed you lemanie so I'll wait for the next HHC bus to come along :)

YL, I did :rotfl: at your DS not knowing how to run a bath. DSD was supposed to vacuum out DH's car once (for a hefty price, natch, she never does anything for nothing) and she said the hoover wasn't working as there was no suction from the hose. She had disconnected BOTH ENDS from the machine. I was speechless.

DS2 decluttered to school, and we found both the missing drinks bottle and his shoe :T Since getting home I have tidied and cleaned the kitchen surfaces, scrubbed the sink and chucked yet another load of soda crystals down the plug'ole. The floor has been swept and will be mopped once I have sorted the bathroom.

And so to the list for today:
    • Clean the bathroom and mop the floor
    • Mop kitchen floor
    • Dust and vac the LR
    • Clean the gin and orange stain from the LR carpet
    • Superglue the backplate from the LR doorknob back together -- DSD broke it yesterday when she slammed the door
    • Vac the bedrooms
    • Update debit card info on !Tunes
    • Download remote control app for both my phone and my lappy
    • Call NDN re: poorly customer for update
    • Update spreadsheets
    • Call sorting office and see if they have found the parcel which they so kindly lost last week
    • Fling at least 10 items from my wardrobe
dancemum, I hope your head is better today. Be kind to yourself xx

    morning all
im in again thank you for the lists natty and dusty.
hugs good wishes and positive vibes to all who need them
hope the birthdays over the weekend went well and birthday people had fun
last week tailed off a bit for me i never had the puter on hardly from wednesday evening.
we gota call saying garage roof guys could fit us in at short notice so it was action stations, everything taken out of the garage so they could put a new roof on (it looks lovely btw:T) then we had to sort and declutter before putting it all back so tip run on saturday along with some garden rubbish of mils from when we took the trellis down before it blew and took the fence with it.
the arch my dad made cant go back where it was so thats made us think the bottom of the garden needs dealing with now its been on the frog list a while so the arch will be used in two parts either end of the back fence in a supporting and hiding the compost bin and the reinforcing strut way;) meaning all the weeds and overgrowness need pulling out it needs digging over compost bin empting a new wooden edge getting for the front as well as a 'something' to keep the soil of the bottom of the fence at the back plus pond aka old sandpit will need lifting out and checking for spawn so doubt it can be emptied. luckily Dh has a few more days off to use and the weather is looking promising.
also made a set of chair back covers for my firneds haridresser shop so took them down and fitted them at the weekend - used fabric i had so a bit of decluttering there

    Monday Kitchen and Dining Room
    Basic Flying

    Sweep and mop the floor
    Wipe out the fridge
Wipe the work tops - removing everything first
Wipe all the handles in these rooms
    Deep Cleaning
Wipe up high on top of cupboards, shelves etc
Give your sink a really good clean and shine those taps
Do you toothbrushes need replacing - the old ones are great for cleaning around taps, oven dials etc
    Decluttering or Gardening
Picnic wear, plastic plates and cups, lunchboxes give them a sort
Do you really need all those sugar sachets you've collected, the free samples you've never used? - decant or bin them - they didn't cost you anything.
Have a good tidy up in the garden, get rid of broken or manky toys, pots etc. Sweep up to make it look better ensuring drain covers are free from leaves etc

    my list
[STRIKE]ring friend[/STRIKE] - spent over an hour on phone
    scouts
    martial arts
    clear ironing
    plan garden
    SPC~12 ot 124

In a world that has decided that it's going to lose its mind, be more kind my friend, try to Be More Kind

Hope your disorganised back-to-work woman finds the job details sorted, wendywitch. She ought to be the person returning the phonecall, not you!

How did you get on in your HHC, lemanie?

    I managed to
    - have a shower
    - S&S bathroom
    - strip bed
    - sort washing - how did just two of us get up to 5 loads? Suppose it's a week since I last did any :o
    - start WMx1
    - book optician's appt
    - make :coffee: for DH (who is stripping the utility walls :))
    - sweep DR floor
    - sweep DR floor again as I realised that I had trodden in bits of wallpaper from the utility
    - persuade DH to change out of his new slippers into old ones and put his old ones on (he resents being asked to do sensible things like this)
    - move doormat from utility to other side of door with my outdoor shoes and his indoor shoes on it ;) I wonder how long the "airlock" will be observed!
    - tidy BR1 and LV

Not too bad... loads of work still waiting to be done... Will catch up with everyone later.

Glad your new garage roof installation went well Mrs-MP. I envy those of you who get such pleasure from gardening, I used to have a very large garden but I HATED having to maintain it.

    Quick update:
    • Clean the bathroom and mop the floor
    • Mop kitchen floor
    • Dust and vac the LR
    • Clean the gin and orange stain from the LR carpet
    • Superglue the backplate from the LR doorknob back together -- DSD broke it yesterday when she slammed the door
    • Vac the bedrooms
    • [STRIKE]Update debit card info on !Tunes[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Download remote control app for both my phone and my lappy[/STRIKE] Took three attempts but it's done now and works great :D
    • Call NDN re: poorly customer for update -- tried but she didn't answer, although she is deaf as a post so is probably at home :p
    • [STRIKE]Update spreadsheets[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Call sorting office and see if they have found the parcel which they so kindly lost last week[/STRIKE] Called but the number is for their call centre and not the sorting office directly. I think I will have to go back into town and shout at them face to face. Not happy as I have already been on one goose chase down there and I have to pay to park.
    • Fling at least 10 items from my wardrobe
Looks like I have dealt with all my technology "to dos" for today. I also managed to download the rest of House of Cards season two and the first season of True Detective. There's our pre-bed TV watching sorted for the next few weeks ;)

Has anyone else been watching Salamander on BBC4? It has me hooked. Last two episodes are on Saturday night and we are out :( Sunday morning catch-up it is then!
