They have odd habits, some OHs. Mine answers easy questions I don't need to ask while avoiding the actual question I posed. Gotta luv 'em. Sometimes. A bit.

Has anyone else been watching Salamander on BBC4? It has me hooked. Last two episodes are on Saturday night and we are out :( Sunday morning catch-up it is then!

We're fans and we've been out for the last two Saturdays and are out again this Saturday. (I have tried to get out of this one but we can't, apparently.) I watch very little TV but there it seems there is always something we're supposed to be doing at 9.00pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Neveah won't be flying for a while i expect after she fell over last night and smashed her front teeth out and ended up in A&E. She didn't break anything thankfully.

*ouch* Healing vibes, Neveah, and also Lemanie for the pain.

Catching up going slowly here. Can't get the white load in the WM on, because one of the lodgers has only surfaced briefly to use the bathroom so I can't change her bed without disturbing her 'rest.'

Linen settle sorted, bank account reconciled from December up to date, kitchen tided, sink scrubbed, bins emptied, tidying and putting away going on everywhere, and the paperwork mountain that's been accummulating for the past 10 days has been shuffled. Going to go and tackle the fridge now.
    Better is good enough.

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Thanks Honeybear.

In my HHC at 2; I made some Sweet Root Soup and prepped the veg for tea. I put on the Gammon to roast and then headed off to school, dropping off an order on the way and calling at the greengrocers on the way home. Since getting back in I have started cooking tea, washed the lunchboxes, brought in the washing, sorted and put away what I can. Off to pee in a tub and faff with the sample tube now before my appt.
    Catch you all tomorrow.

Quick question related to today's list: Do you think I can mow my grass yet, it is fairly dry and growing like crazy?

Oh bless you dancemum, that all sounds very traumatic! DH also suffers with IBD (Crohn's), it's a horrible illness. Sending you some loves xx

JTTOU, well done on volunteering some of your time to a very worthy cause :) Sorry to hear it has tired you out today but I'm sure that once you've got a few shifts under your belt you'll take it in your stride no bother :)

Hope the appt goes well, lemanie

C(ouldn't)BA to take the boys to the barbers so we'll go tomorrow after school. DS1 made stir fry today and it is blinkin' delicious! Almost choked to death on it but it didn't stop me going back for more. Oink.

Yes, unless your ground is especially waterlogged. Mr LW mowed ours on Saturday.:o

Fridge/freezer all clean and sparkling now, and I can open the freezer drawers without battling a glacier in the process.:D It took quite a while, and was hard work (for me, at least; I expect others would have found it a breeze) but I'm pleased it's done.

Dusty I only got on with it because you put "wipe out the fridge" on today's list; I fully intended to get it done at some point this week, but have got it done today, so thanks for that.:D
Is it sad that I feel so pleased with myself over this?:rotfl:

ETA: I finally have a GP appointment; 16:30 on 3rd April. Mr LW has permission to work from home that day and knock off at 16:00, so he'll be here to take me.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

That's given me an nudge.... be back soon! Must ring the carpenter first, though, now that I know when DGSs 1+2 are coming to stay.
  • Hey, thanks Fizzwizz - I was saying to DH about how I was wiped out and he reminded me that I haven't had a decent night's sleep for nearly two weeks now with "the cough" - so am hoping it was a combination of the two plus the warm sunshine coming in through the window!!

Have just sorted finances and about to put a washer load on then it will be tea and Top Gear!!

Well done LW- my fridge freezer needs doing badly but I don't think the freezer will be this week!!!

Will be onto tomorrow's list first thing as have now, I hope, finished all the World War I research I need to do.

    Have a good evening everyone.
