Totally agree with you there !! That is why I am sticking with 12.16 - the best browser and e-mail client ever !

I do have FF on the machine as well for the few sites that won't function with Opera.

What can I add ? A browser is a browser , a comfy chair is a comfy chair, a wife is not just for 39 christmases (I hope). I love me, my browser loves me, my wife of 39 christmases ...well let's not go there, but the object of your desires is not a subject to be discussed so let's all move on and talk about the new iSomething , or the cost of RAM, or do super conductors exist at normal temperatures, or hey let's just carry on talking bull$hit.

Amazing how many different experiences that there are with FF. Points to any problems being caused by individual set ups rather than inbuilt problems with FF.

I think too many people place too much emphasis on FF being free and being part of the rebellion against the big rich microsoft. You'll always get people who want to rebel against anything big just like people rebelling against google and its adverts.

That isn't why people mistrust Google. People worry about Google because it is a data thief beyond almost all control and no one can even begin to guess what that might lead to.
