Couldn't get on with Waterfox, tried it a couple of years back.

Don't know if it still does, but it used to use your existing Firefox profile, so caution needed when uninstalling.
Tried to open Firefox and Waterfox to see if any difference, pc wouldn't have it.
It would only open second instance of whichever one I'd opened first.

Palemoon every time for me, but sticking with 32 bit.
    Move along, nothing to see.

I have been using Palemoon x64 for around 12 months or more and FF previous to that going back as far as Firebird 0.7, before the name change. ;)

lmao @ IE, can IE do 1000+ tabs? I currently have 1004 tabs in Palemoon. IE struggles with more than about 10 in my previous experience.

OMG, in a browser discussion thread I can't believe no-one's mentioned Opera yet.

For me, Opera 12.16 on W7 is just perfect, ff useless and bloated, later versions of IE also good. Never did like chrome, ever

The later versions of Opera, where it turned into a Chrome clone, sadly ruined the browser.
    Squirrel!

    Hence why I specified a version number... 12.16 is just...perfect (relatively-speaking, of course ;) )

Been using FF beta's since . . erm, can't remember that far back
Currently testing FF28 beta 9, still faster than IE (well, on mine it is)

Favorite add-on? NoScript (not for the faint-hearted) ;)

Was that the last version where you could specify a proxy server only for Opera?
Seems recent versions of Opera force you to match the setting with your computer's.

What a strange post, "Are any of you using Firefox?", well, various web statistics organisations put Firefox usage levels between around 18% and 21%, which means there will be many thousands of people on this site who use it, some like me who have been using it for many years. It's not perfect, nothing is, but I prefer it to IE, Chrome and Safari.

    What a strange post

I think the clue might be in the poster has only made 57 posts

I personally dislike FF over IE.

Sure IE is slower but FF leaks more memory. IE barely uses any in comparison on my system (not quite sure how that works lol).

I think too many people place too much emphasis on FF being free and being part of the rebellion against the big rich microsoft. You'll always get people who want to rebel against anything big just like people rebelling against google and its adverts.
