Firefox is better than internet explorer

  • I switched to firefox about a month ago because everyone raving about it and am really disappointed at not switching sooner! Firefox add-ons are so good and anyone who is using firefox or thinking of converting make sure to use the add-on adblock plus. Literally no adverts on anything even youtube, 4od etc... Another great add-on is ghostery it shows you all the tracking cookies on sites and blocks them. This page has 3 trackers. It also is so much faster and smoother than internet explorer.

Are any of you using firefox? What do you think?

Have you tried a wireless mouse? You'll be blown away...
Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.

I am finding FF downright unreliable regarding any Adobe Flash player usage. Flickering cursor in yahoo Email that follows you all round Windows, Flash often crashes, FF hates coming out of Sleep mode.
I think the FF dev team are either stretched, or losing sight of basic reliability/performance/bug fixing aspects.
BUT I still use FF when possible due to those add-ins.

This is not universal though so I doubt it's the fault of FF. I have no problems with it here.

I cannot stand IE, too many tabs opening etc.

Love FF have used for years now with a cordless mouse. Clean simple, fast and the download to stop others tracking you around and blocking your email address etc.

Christ- I forgot all about IE, may go back and have a look at it for memories sake. FF and Chrome all the way.

I use firefox quite a bit but the constant updates and the shockwave flash crashes are getting a bit annoying now.

I agree about Firefox having become bloated. IE is noticeably quicker to load (on a 64 bit machine) and every extra version or 'improvement' seems to make FF worse. I wish they'd leave the damn thing alone and just make it work more quickly.

As for Chrome fans, you're welcome. Google has more than enough power already.
