Never done the house from top to bottom and never likely to.
However as it can take me an hour to do one room, due to the amount of time to actually find the surfaces to clean them, plus endless distractions when I keep finding things I thought I'd lost, remove hoover from the dog's gob etc, I'd never get the lot done in a day, let alone 40 minutes.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I suppose a lot depends on how tidy your house is, if you need to move lots of things before you can start cleaning its going to take a lot longer.

I had a blitz when I was on holiday a few weeks ago because I had got behind and spent about 5 hours cleaning, tidying, doing laundry etc. but that was a one off. Normally I am a fan of the Flylady principles and try and do a little every day.

I was talking about this with a friend recently though and I reckon I spend about 2 to 2.5 hrs every day cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and general housework. There are four of us and no-one else does anything much so its all down to me.

I don't think i've ever done the whole thing in one go really.....if I did it could take two days due to getting distracted by looking at stuff.

I flit clean on and off during the week, a more thorough clean if people coming and when on days off, and do a deeper clean every other month when have a holiday week.

No way could I do a house in 90 mins...I probably spend that fannying around in one room.
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

Probably quicker if I didn't have so many breaks! My house is very tidy so shouldn't take long but it takes forever. X

It takes 2 of us about 1.5 hours to do the whole house. We take it room by room - I go first, cleaning, tidying, dusting, then OH follows me with the hoover. He cleans the bathrooms while I sort out the other rooms. We've got a 3 bed, 2 bath house. Dishwasher goes on every night, laundry is done once a week.

Top to bottom, full clean to within an inch of its life, about a year I think.

i do a couple of hours each night, but i like to give it a good overhaul on a Saturday and takes me about 4 hours :)

    2 hours Sunday to Friday = 12 hours + 4 hours Saturday = 16 hours a week!

    How big is your house?
