    Good evening All.
I just wanted to Thank You all for your help. I received a cancellation letter for my PCN, and they assured on the letter that the matter is now closed on their systems.
Do i need to take any action or let the DVLA or BPA know as they did not respond to my email.

Can you fill in some gaps here please?

What caused UKCPS to cancel your PCN as there is no recorded action that you've taken detailed on this thread?

They wouldn't just send a 'cancellation' out of the blue. You must have hit them with something potent.

Can't see any need to update the BPA or DVLA - leave that to UKCPS should either organisation contact them, you've had enough unwarranted hassle already (unless Knill wishes to debate this and deliver you another finger-wagging sermon ☝️).
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I was advised to send them an appeal, if you check previous posts, they were really helpful. I followed the instructions and then got the cancellation.

Hopefully he will be too busy fitting washers to his taps .

Did you use the 'NEWBIES sticky' appeal, or one you developed yourself? UKCPS aren't an organisation that meekly slinks away on the first challenge.

The rules don't become non-existent just because you're not feeling well..

Next time park in a correct spot.

    Lesson learnt, case over.

I agree Knill that the OP showed a blatant disregard for the rights of landowners, and this is to be deprecated. As a landowner myself, such behaviour appals me.

However, the PPC have shown complete contempt for the Law, and attempted to obtain monies, to which they had no entitlement, by misrepresentation. For this they must be punished, and that is the raison d'etre of this board.

Two wrongs do not make a right, and theirs is by far the greater crime.

If you have not understood this, then I suggest you refrain from posting here until such time as you do.

I disagree with you, the OP has not indicated where he parked, it could have been anywhere and not causing a problem. The problem is that companies like ukcps are just looking for this to their own ends! The landowner in cases like supermarkets probably wouldn't give a monkeys where you parked, as long as it doesn't cause an obstruction or nuisance
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I appealed first with one i developed myself, then they rejected then i re appealed using the NEWBIES sticky and thats when they cancelled the PCN

Just to inform you they CANCELLED the ticket so that must mean something. if they had a right then they should have taken it further. My car was not obstructing any one in any way or Blocking anybody. No harm caused.

Ok, I can understand if it was £100 fine for parking there would be unfair, but a £30 fine would be a way of learning your lesson and not being punished too hard.

Surely they have permission to give out fines for the land, otherwise wouldn't Tesco do something about it?

If where OP parked was obstruction something, then I would say the fine is fair.
