Haha dont worry I was gonna write it tomorrow and send it recorded delivery. Im more concerned that theyll drag their heels at the other end.
That template will come in very handy.

nobody told you to send it recorded delivery

No - don't use recorded delivery/signed for - these scammers have been know to refuse to sign for letters like that.

Better, and cheaper, to just get a 'certificate of posting' which is free.

Oops - Redx beat me to it - Damn that guy's quick. LOL
  • Ok. No recorded delivery, no Ior me but The Driver instead. Read through properly all the links given and use given template. Rightyho. Im gonna be a busy girl tomorrow.

Hi. Crikey Ive read an awful lot of these parking fine posts. Ive written a very rough draft to send off, cut and pasted from other posts.

    Dear ParkingEye,

I am writing to you with regards to PCN Ref No xxxxxxx. I am the registered keeper of the vehicle and was issued with this PCN. As keeper, I am fully entitled to appeal, as defined in para 22.14 of the BPA Code of Practice. The driver will not be identified in this appeal process and I have given below all the information I am prepared to include at this stage, so do not send me a template 'holding' reply. I require either a rejection letter and POPLA code or a letter confirming cancellation of the PCN, as your response.

In said PCN, you claim that the vehicle was parked longer than the appropriate parking time but as you can see on the enclosed photocopies of your PCN and my parking ticket, I actually left the car park 22 minutes before my parking ticket expired.

I require you to thoroughly check the records of the machine that issues the parking tickets to ascertain whether the licence plate details may have been entered into the machine incorrectly in error. I suspect you have overlooked a small typo.

Show me your 'manual review/quality check' records for that car park on that day, relating to the hour of arrival. If you will not show this to me then you will have to show it to POPLA anyway, where I will also require you to explain how the charge of £85 is accumulated. There is no genuine loss that would account for anything remotely close to this amount.

you have used the word I instead of THE DRIVER in the above draft , also MY too

suggest you check it through and ensure no mention of the driver is in there, no implications either ;)
my parking ticket, I actually left
  • Grrrr how on earth did I do that again! Will change it.

You've left your reference number in the post above by the looks of things, that is not wise please edit it out

We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
