it's very addictive, i started off card making, have loads of stamps and have done some embossing but not much. I always feel that i don't have the imagination but i do enjoy doing it. I made my OH a fold up album for his birthday of pictures from the day he proposed. As usual forgot to take photo's but i'll get him to bring in the next time he's here. He loved it, i was worried he would think it was naff but it turned out he was hoping i'd make him something like that. Best of all it was pretty much free as i had all the stuff here just sitting on the shelves.
My sister just got one of those posh new die cutting machines i'm hoping i can con her into doing me loads of alphabets which i really could do with for my pages.

  • wow you have all been busy! Love the layouts (LO!). Now girls seriously DONT spend loads on stuff - my scrapbooking is partly responsible for the horrendous debts I have & while it served its purpose in giving me a life (where I had none) it really wasnt worth the money I spent & I literally was addicted with stash!! Good that I now have enough but money could have been so much better spent! (a few times over!)...I now feel very behind but deligted that the challenge has done you all good by the look of it!
Wel am back from a VERY long day in London. I managed to get up at 5 & was in London by 8.30. Been a good day in that it reminds me again that I am very happy living where I am; its so unfriendly in London, people dont smile at each other, are generally quite rude & aloof & I returned feeling qute filthy, despte living in a city myself! Back is also killing me after sitting on uncomfortble chairs, Conrence was ok but I didnt really feel worth the money & effort TBH...never mind. It was a day out & did at least give food for thought although some of the speakers were somewhat random taking the topic into account!! Bizarre!
I returned to a letter from the vet saying that Maceys ashes are ready to collect, earlier than I anticipated. Will ring my friend and arrange a wee burial cermony with a pot and plant on top for her to go in. Wont rush though as feel the need to process the info, as had not anticipated her being ready yet, although vet did say a week to 10 days & its a week today...Maybe its the SW in me but as time goes by I realise more & more the importance to go with the grief that we feel..whatever it is for. Had a lovely email from my mum today ack the importance of this & the dire consequences when we dont which just reiterated how I was feeling. If other people dont get that, it's ok!
Budget went slightly awry as treated myself to a bottle of wine & M&S fahitas which dont feed the 2 they suggest!! May be able to claim the food back, if not the wine as I dint get home until 7.30 & left at 5am so shuld get extra food allowance! TBH was so tired diet & budget both left the buiding! Have a few days of so will start points counting & majr budget restraint next week as have sisters birthday etec this weekend & do feel the need for a bit of chilling (although not wild, espensive chilling!). Also got given 2 £2 coins and tried to contain my excitement, recognising that some dont actually get the excitement that comes with a £2 coin!!
Anway, will sign off & pop round the boards! Lovely to see all the laoyouts on my return! How do others (other than sea who already said she wanted to do one!) feel about a circle journal? Can people PM me please on this? Ta muchly! Hugs debt busters ...hope you're all ok!

i know what you mean, i've added so much to my debt with my craft stuff, and i'm sure my determination never to buy another card (cept chrissy cards) to send still won't save me the money i have spent.
I was in London last weekend, OH mother did the usual "when i win the lottery i'll buy you a big house but ONLY if you live in London" and again i said NO! I'd rather live in a one bed flat in a small town than in london any day of the week. She even wanted me to sign a 'contract' to that effect, well i'm sure thats what she said but she does have an accent and a half!
  • Well another day! Feeling quite tired today but was going to hav a quiet NSD anyway! Am off till Tuesday and just catching up & now going to do my LO! Off to hunt for paper in my mountain of stash! I also want to make a card for the vet & for he staff to say thank you! Will update later!

Hi FF, not surprising that you feel quite tired really after such a long day yesterday and coming back home to an emotional issue too.

    Take it easy today x

Hey FF - hope you are having a productive time and enjoying the LO. The card sounds a lovely idea too.
