Just taken ages to catch up on all your postings - but great reading. I swapped Thursdays list for Wednesdays again this week and am considering scary step of making own lists that suit our home/activities - it's a little nerve-wracking flying the nest you know :rotfl: .

Thanks for all the inspiration/laughs - catch you all tomorrow.

Tomorrows list now up. Another hectic day but a good one, beach was great, dogs loved it. Just going to gather Holly's things for in the morning and get the night time stuff done, after I have caught up with what you lot have been up to.

Extra 'sparkly shoe' points for pigpen for ironing, I hate it so much I don't even know where mine is, I iron what I NEED to and nothing more. 'Sparkly' points for Jackie too, wow, that was some pile and I am amazed :) well done. Like the hangaway idea, that would be a great way to hang clothes to dry and easier to sort for putting away, have those overdoor hooks myself and there ain't much room.
One day I might be more organised...........

I sorted a bag of stuff that I had cleared out of a drawer a long time ago and had just left lying on the floor, took me five minutes, when will I learn?!

Great flying day today, bedroom looks good. All the washing photos made me laugh. Dare I try and motivate myself by posting a picture of the toy mountain in the corner of the living room that needs sorting (and I only have one mobile child, DS is too young to make a mess yet!). I'll sleep on it......
Shirleypark - what have you done, after you recommended http://www.rememberthemilk.com I had a look and it feeds my list addiction too well... I can't decide yet if it is really useful or if it just makes me feel like I am doing something...

Oh forgot to add, my piles about the same as Jackie's that needs sorting, I've moved it today and it's all in the spare room/kids pc room and on the landing :o it totals about 11 washer loads and is huge, then there is a basket full of undies. It's on my list for tomorrow night, have been neglecting stuff like that while we got the assignment finished (handed in today :) ) and just wearing them off the piles :o naughty I know.

I also like lists now, rememberthemilk is a good one, charts too I like www.chartjungle.com which has lists AND charts :D Nothing wrong with doing lists to show yourself what you have achieved.

Solwaykid - whenever I look at Martin's Wimbledon picture quickly I think he's dressed up as an air hostess:D

I've only got one laundry basket. I feel deprived.

I wish I only had one instead of about 5 as it would stop me leaving the stuff in there :rotfl: might fill them with something else to stop myself :o

I'd need a panoramic lens to take a piccie of my ironing pile, which is about a couple of feet high on my single bed in the spare room. Out of sight out of mind unfortunately. Although i'm a bit sad in that i like ironing if i can be just left to get on with it. I might make that my next week project while Charlie naps. An hour a day would probably clear it in a week.

Anyway - today. Bit of a right off really. I've managed a few bits, including the main one of getting the buggy and a bag packed for charlie for tomorrow for our trip. I need to be out of the house around 7:30, so it needed to be done. Hopefully he will really enjoy it.

I'm another one who is trialling remember the milk. My problem as always is i should set myself a time scale, and just get on cos ir never takes as long as you think once you just start it. Yet it takes so much away from life to stress about it.

Anyway, off for a quick bath so i will sleep well, and i will be in to check on you all tomorrow evening.

I've started putting times on my list, sad as it may seem. I have ish times on everything.

Like todays included (in list order but using commas to save space)

Strip bed 5 minutes, remake bed 10 minutes, remove things from floor 5 minutes, vacuum bedroom/landing and mattress 20 minutes

This means I can think right I'll do the stripping bed and removing stuff from floor while the boys eat their brekkie as it takes same amount of time, or I'm going out in half an hour I'll get the vacuuming done and make the bed before I go. Works for me. I need lists or I just plain forget, end up chasing my tail, pointless.
