LJD1 - funny you should say that - I was gettin excited about mine earlier today! :rolleyes:Lol - I think I have managed to plan my wardrobe so that I don't wear anything that needs ironing!
Also, OH got us one of those rotary airers that you hang your clothes up on hangers to dry - it means even his shirts don't need doing :j Makes life so much easier! (And I think he got it for a tenner from Woolies!)
(It has three arms ):money: I heart Martin! :money:0 -
I found one for £14.99. http://www.lakeland.co.uk/product.aspx/!21800

Well, I'm sat at home with a possibly flea-ridden moggie on my lap... and not managed anything on (or even off!) my list!!
2 hours of phonecalls trying to sort out a new mortgage deal has pretty much sapped my will to do anything - never mind clean :-S
Although I know I'll feel better if I just do something... Ooo... BB starts in 45 mins :money: I heart Martin! :money:0 -
OOH What happened? I haven't read the flylady thread for a couple of weeks, so I jump to the last page and what happens - PIGPEN TURNED OVER A NEW LEAF! :rotfl: :T What changed???
Birthday party tomorrow for my DD1, she is 13 and we have family coming and she is having friends over for a BBQ at the weekend... Then I have a friend coming on tuesday.. mammoth task to get the whole house presentable.. plus after doing nothing for 2 weeks while I was ill and another week while we waded through flood water and had a second week of no school the house looked like a war zone.. so now it is appalling and has to be done.. I am also in decorating mode which means I tidy then make loads of mess.. and I can see where I have been!!! Cool!!
Anyway.. nice to see you spying on us.. but where have you been slacking then seeing as you've not been here for a couple of weeks??LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I think ironing always gets extra brownie points... especially if it isn't your own! Have an extra 6 from me
Dave (the cat) has just rolled off my lap... I think that's my cue to be useful...:money: I heart Martin! :money:0 -
Evening,
Welcome to the new Flypeople! Gosh, we're picking up speed.
Just had a not so quick catch up on the day's activities - five more pages to read, I'm going to have to start logging on at work if this continues! Well done everybody for crossing those lists, seems to be a laundry theme today. I'm fed up of not being able to get any dry and I daren't put it out when I leave for work 'cos it'll be wetter than when it started.
I'm only just starting my Flying for the day. I went out for a happy hour tea with the girls from work, was just the good laugh that I needed.
Somebody ate a mouse on my cream bedroom rug during the night ( do you want to know this??) I covered the blood with salt and put it outside for the day and I've just put it through the WM. Fingers crossed..
Going to strip the bed at least tonight but I've got a half day tomorrow so I might play catch up.
Chivas, I reckon I do half an hour a day sticking to the list, more if I have nothing better to do or am in the mood.
Jackieb and pigpen, ta for the photos. I'm soooo glad there's only me to wash and iron for. When/if I get my camera back from my Bro I'll post a pic of my tiny laundry pile. Not enough even to warrant a laundry basket. Jackie, it did look like the tv was on the ironing board in the first pic.
Speaking of which ( well, I was) did anyone else think that Martin's 'Wimbledon' pic at the top of the board was one of the Thunderbirds, or do I just need glasses?:rotfl:
Dusty, I kept meaning to say I liked your sig motto, was very resonant for me but you've changed it. Like that one too though!
I wish I could spend more time on here, you're all so lovely and the humour in the face of adversity is just fantastic. I'm quite emotional today but that's as near as a compliment you're all getting off me.
Going to wrestle with a king sized matress, all 50kg of me.. I'll take my mobile in case I get trapped. And biscuits and water, help lives a long way away.
