feelie, your holiday pic looks good too, i have never been abroad, and i'm 37 how sad is that?
would love to go, but too scared, even getting passports seems so much like hard work, especially for my sons, who have one name on their birth certificate, and are known by something else. also when i last looked at the forms, they needed my mums passport number for id purposes, she's never had one either.
feeling low again today, just cant seem to snap out of it, this freezin cold weather not helping either.
think i might go on the haven site, and book a short break at easter my me and kids, hopefully might be bit warmer then, and hopefully having something to look forward to might help.
saying that i'm having my hair cut today, and coloured, and even that i'm not looking forward to, like i usually do, just feel so lonely, so alone

  • Certainly postive thinking and positive vibes are what's needed to improve your feelings of wellbeing.

I've found a free online book

Positive Psychology in a Nutshell: A Balanced Introduction to the Science of ...

that goes into positive thinking in more detail. I heard the author discussing the science and ideas behind it and am currently reading it.

    Hi to all
Hope you are all ok. I love the recent pics from Katie and feelgood. Work was ok, felt very wrong(dress wise) as outfit didnt look right and was aware of people staring and not saying "like your outfit" or similar, just staring. Normally I can handle it but today I felt upset about it. Will try a more "tried and tested" look tomorrow. Saw a book on positive thinking by some hypnotist guy in the charity shop but it said there was a cd with it to listen to and it was not there so didnt bother getting it. I am not motivated enough at the moment to do much positive thinking.
Did anyone watch Kerry Katona show on MTV last night? She is Bi P and it shows. I have never really warmed to her, she is a bit crude, but I did feel sorry for her last night.

Hi shaz how are you? How did your hair appointment go? I've got to make one for this week, but I don't enjoy the hairdressers-watching them hack away at my hair scares me!

If you want to go away you definatly should try-I work for the Post Office, so I could help/advise with the forms if you want me too. Don't be too hard on yourself-you have so much to cope with and you cope brilliantly in my opinion. :)

Go online to http://www.ips.gov.uk/passport/apply-first.asp they can give you all the information you need. Your passport will be quite straight forward to do, and once you have yours, its then easier to apply for your sons. Don't panic though, they make them look and seem a lot harder to fill out than they actually are! At least you're getting away though.

I'm ok, start of my fortnight off tomorrow so I can relax. I'm determined to stay positive-I didn't cry at all yesterday even though it was mine and OHs anniversery and I was here alone.

  • Wow Tiff, you are up early!

Thought I'd mention a few other bits from my trip so far. I flew economy class and was in a very crowded plane for 11 hours. I've been out on my own today. Out on my own in a forgien country, in a non tourist town. No one at the bank spoke English. A lot of people keep looking at me in an odd way. Since I got here, I've not seen any other English people (apart from Hubby). Only 7,000 people out of 1,000,000 aren't Korean. And best of all, no panic attacks. I cannot believe the change in my life. 12 months ago I could barely leave the house.

What a lovely pic you posted :)

It sounds like you're having a great time.

It's great that you've not experienced any panic attacks :T You're doing so well hun. You've come so far. I hope you're proud of what you've managed to achieve.

    (((HUGS)))

Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Must drag myself away from here to walk the dogs and go get something for tea. Promised myself I would do some tidying but it is not happening. Thinking how it would be nice to have a drink and relax like normal people do!!
