RBK - the pharmacist failed to supply the medication prescribed - I was given Maxidex when my consultant had prescribed Dexamethasone without preservative (Minims). On another occasion I had been prescribed Predforte to be taken in both eyes - my consultant wrote on the prescription 2 x 5ml bottles (I know because I had a row at the chemist after I discovered what I had been given) - I was given one 10ml bottle (pharmacist didnt ask me about my eye condition and it clearly states on the warning information that it is for bacterial infections and therefore a bottle for each eye should be used. She told me she could dispense what she wanted:eek:

Meyore - as a change, why not go and have your hair done - how about going red? Redheads have more fun than blondes:D I am only warning you about tatts because I know people who have had them done and have then spent their time covering them up. Mind, there is one person I know that loves her green tattoos and that is my ex-cousin-in-law (ex hubby's cousin) who is a tattooist but she lives in France. She looks like a roll of wallpaper:eek: she has that many tattoos.:eek:

MY OH knows how I feel about the ski trip - I have started to bring it up at every available opportunity. I have been called to a meeting tomorrow at 10am in a cafe in the ICC in Birmingham (note it is not in the offices where my boss has failed to pay rent). So I have a feeling what's coming - still, I and others are thinking of setting up our own business (do you think the government would give us disabled peeps some money to set up a company?).

Seeing Katie's holiday snaps has made me think of a holiday of my own - I have a flight voucher, just need to decide where to go and where to stay.:cool:

Horace If the prescription said Dexamethasone preservative free eye drops then yes the pharmacist should have dispensed Minims Dexamethasone and not Maxidex as Maxidex has the preservative benzalkonium chloride.

If the Doctor prescribed 2 x 5ml bottles of Pred Forte (1 for each eye) then yes the pharmacist should have dispensed 2 x 5ml.

I think you would be well within your rights to make a complaint.
