    Hi guys!:hello:
We are always saying on here that people don't understand our issues with mental ill health. There can't be many of us who hasn't had a negative reaction when we've told somone that we have mental ill health.

Well, if you've got 5 minutes, I'd like to suggest that you pop over to Rethink's site. Here's the link...

    http://www.movingpeople.org.uk/survey

They are doing a survey of people with mental health issues in order to accurately target an educational campaign at the people who discriminate, or abuse us or who just don't understand mental ill health and what life is like for us. Wouldn't it be fantastic if mental ill health as one of the last taboos, was vanquished?action-smiley-033.gif
The deadline for the online survey is 22nd February AND you will be entered into a prize draw for £100 of high street shopping vouchers for participating!sport-smiley-001.gif It's a win-win situation.
Please spend a few moments to tick some boxes if you can peeps. It may not seem like it's going to make much of a difference - but you know the old adage - 'Out of little acorns...'sLo_hug2.gif

I got stuck on the bus this morning on my way to work - we sat for what seemed like hours going nowhere and a journey that normally takes 30 minutes took an hour and 15:mad: I then had my usual 10 min walk to work. Shouldn't have worried about being late as most people didn't turn up until 10am:rolleyes:

I ended up having words with one of my colleagues - you can tell he's ex militiary because he loves barking orders which I ignore (well, he's not my boss):D He's a right pain lately, we are still waiting for computers to arrive so he uses a borrowed laptop in the office and does tons of work at home (I refuse to take my laptop to work and will only do a nominal amount of work at home). Today, I was accused of going off to !!!!! about him when in fact I was going to use the internet access in the kitchen (paid for by the company whose office space we are renting) - I had no intention of !!!!!ing as I was sending some work emails and one where I hoped to get some business - I lost my rag and told the chap that he was paranoid because life was too short to talk about him.

He came in part way through a conversation I was having with someone and again accused me of calling him nosey (he overheard me say something). Well my old grandma taught me that 'people who listen at key holes never hear good of themselves':rotfl: I got so fed up of him moaning that I left the office (well it was 2pm and we had been told to work from 10-2). Please tell nme how I can organise an event when I have no money, no computer, no business cards and no company mobile?

Sorry for whinging but sometimes folks just make me sick. I think I'll go in tomorrow and ask what funding we have - its his job to look for funding:rotfl: see what he says then!.

I have had such a hellish day all I want to do is eat chocolate biscuits and junk:eek:

On the bus coming home I saw a policewoman that I know and we had a chat - people looked at me as though I was a criminal but I explained to one lady that I knew the policewoman from my old job. It was nice to catch up and she gave me a tip - to always carry a couple of quid in my pocket when I walk around the city centre in case someone hassles me for money. She told me to just handover the couple of quid to stop myself from getting mugged (it would be great to have a couple of quid spare - mine goes on bus fares every day).

I shall go and make a drink (and try and avoid the biscuit tin). Hope all is well with everyone.

For sources of the supplements Dr Dach used you will probably find them cheaper from Iherb.

    B12 - Methylcobalamin
I expect you can buy this in the UK but usually you find it's the form that isn't well utilized Cyanocobalamin.

    5-HTP, 100 mg

Hi all, hope you're all doing ok today. I've had an ok day, but I'm really tired now. Felt so ill last night, maybe that'll teach me not to eat so much junk in such a short space of time! :)

I got weighed today-11st 3lb now and according to boots machine I am no longer overweight! :j Thats a real surprise, considering the junk I've eaten recently!

Work wasn't so good, but I can't really describe why, I just hated it. I didn't leave my last job in the best of circumstances and I worry that history will repeat itself. Went to step class straight from work, so I've been good. I ate really healthily today, but as a result I'm starving now!

Got all the brochures through for the place I would ideally want to get married today-the prices were huge, so I think that idea might be out of the window... I guess its just not meant to be :(

Anyway, I'll stop going on now!

    Xx
