Hi goldie!:hello:
How are you angel? i hope you're feeling better hun.
quote=imported_goldie;
Its great to see your posts again Tiff, are you SURE you're not a professional counsellor? You could make a fortune if you went into private practice.
Have you seen my last post?!:D (sorry miro!;) )
Nope, I'm not a trained counsellor angel, lol, or a professional anything. Just a Tiff.;)
Fortune huh? Hmm......
Ahem. *in my best German accent...*
'Tell me my dear, what is your earliest memory?
That's £300 please!':D
None of the doctors i have ever seen re my depression have actually said anything half as insightful as you. Your advice to everyone really is spot on along with such a great sense of humour - your last few posts with the cat pictures actually made me smile (which i have not been doing a lot of lately!!) Hope all is well with your mum?
Thanks for the lovely words angel.:A I think you're being too generous with your words hun but thank you anyway.:o Maybe I could start training the drs?!
It's very much a day to day situation with Mum goldie.:o She's not going to get better and it's just a case of making her comfortable. Thanks for asking.
I've got a hospital appt today with the rheumatologist consultant. I'll try and post again laterhun.
I only say what all the other really wonderful people here would say angel. If you read, you'll see that a lot of people who came here and posted, stopped around to help others.:T That's the magic of this board hun.
Take care goldie hun.
Much Love,

For many years, I've been looking for a mandrobe.
I can open the door & take out my city slicker dressed in an understated silver grey Armani-by-Asda suit, with charcoal grey shirt & tie, grey socks & loafers & specs to visit the bank manager etc.
My disco demon would be in a mid blue classic cut shirt, with the tiniest darker blue pattern on, navy chinos with a brown leather-look belt & mocasins.
For breezy weekend walks with the old english sheepdog, my rambler would have wind-blown wavy hair, & be wearing a cable knit sweater I had made, elephant cords in an earthy brown & CAT boots.
The snuggle-bunny would be in the soft green fleece sweatshirt & stone washed jeans, with black leather type mules.
And so it goes on....each man would be appropriate to my moods & once the task is completed, hung back in the mandrobe till next time.
Like many of you, I'm happy with my own company & 'use' my mandrobe to support me when I need it.
The BIG advantage to this system is-regardless of how many you have in your 'wo/manrobe' there's no extra laundry!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi folkes,
very tired.
Someone, who shall remain nameless off here, kept me up til 3am.........and not in a good way either. Then I was so awake I listened to music for a bit. Then I went out and watered the garden at 5am. Then I decided to rearrange my spare room. So I've been lugging furniture round and I've stupidly not been to bed.
I'm out tonite so I've either got to waste some of today in bed or risk falling asleep in the cinema.
I've had lots of PC problems lately so I have only been half reading the thread. But my love for you all is as strong as ever xxx
I had a day where everything went right for me yesterday (maybe the first ever). Had a huge win on a casino. Did some betting. Sorted out an illegal copy of Windows by talking to Microsoft. I really shud have bought a lottery ticket becoz my luck will never be that good again.
Still no news on the job front. But apparently they are still doing 1st interviews...and of course I know that I've passed that round. I just have the talent and swimsuit rounds to go.
BTW the sky was wonderful at dawn today. Once the sun burns off some of the cloud I think we are going to get a cracking day. Get out there! If I can drink enuff coffee I'm going to try to.
Hugs and handshakes to you all.

Morning all :hello:
I've not been around for a few days sorry, work has been busy and I had a good few days so for the sake of the family I tried to do normal things like sit and watch the TV with them etc.
Tiff good to hear you maaged to get more care for your mum.
Managed to get my doctors appointment brought forward by seeing a different doctor and my thyroid is underactive, doesn't sound likes its too bad though, but he has given me a higher dose of thyroxine than I expected, so don't quite understand. Felt a bit fobbed off by him so i'm going to see the original doctor again the end of August. Will just have to wait and see now.
Started a good book that was recommended, managed to get it in my library
