Tulip, I was like oh noooo when you said you wouldn't be around for a while because of PC problems but I'm so glad that it has been fixed. You must be really pleased Do you know what was wrong with it?

To be honest I have no idea what actually caused it to reboot itself the way it did,I was so upset on Saturday with no pc to go on and be with you all,I actually cried,Anyway at least I am back now so that is the main thing.I am fine today and I am off to the pub for lunch and a sing song on the karioke,its carnival week this week where I live but the rain isnt helping at all

Thank you all for your kind support - it meant a lot to me over the last few days.:T :A

Mum is still very poorly but she hasn't gotten much worse thank God. I couldn't get her admitted Wednesday (she's a stubborn lady - can't think who she reminds me of...:rolleyes:).
However, I did manage to get her extra nursing care at home, and an electric backrest for her bed, her flat clean,
food in that she would be able to eat, her appt with her lung and heart consultant brought forward, respiratory nurses, an increase in her Social Services package and a form to apply to increase her DLA.

I was disgusted with her care package - they'd only given her someone for 30 minutes in the morning at about 11am (Mum wakes up around 5a.m.!), to dress, wash up, give her toast, cereal & a cup of tea and make her a sandwich for later. Being so ill, she couldn't even get up to get a drink most of the time. She was even sleeping in her recliner. After a Tiff talk, I'm pleased to say this is being increased.;)

She is still very poorly and it is a downhill fight sadly. The tablets aren't working and you know they're taking it seriously (at last!), when you then get 2 - 3 visits from the respiratory nurses this week.

I think it helped her to have someone there fighting for her who knew a bit of what they were talking about. Even though she was so ill, she was on her own so much, was frightened and tearful and tired God bless her. It doesn't matter how ill she is or how old, she should still get the best of care!

My DS has started dance classes at Birmingham Hippodrome and The Custard Factory (don't ask!:rolleyes: ) last week, and I had the deep joy of paying a taxi fare of £40 when he became stranded at New Street station Friday night, due to them deciding to stop all trains.
I asked him to phone his friends from Stratford college,(couple gone with him to these classes and they live in Brum), only to be told his mobile was flat and so he couldn't get to their numbers. I asked him where he wrote them down to see if I could go into his lair,:eek: , and find them.
DS replied that he'd written them into his mobile!
Now, I love my son, but honest to God, some days I could just... :eek:

I know there's a million posts to get to and I've tried to drop in when I could, but I have thought about every one of you. I hope everyone is safe and sound and that the floods haven't gotten to any of you.

Okay guys - have muchly to do - pms, posts to write etc. - and catnaps count as work you know!

Tiffy hugs to all who are struggling, have appointments, counselling, tests, meetings and treatments, to all our new friends and our old ones too (and no miro, I wasn't talking about sazzy's age!:D ).

Good luck to sazzy too for her counselling tonight.:T

thats the idea saz,tiffy doesnt need to know a thing how are you this evening? hope you are well I had to reinstall windows xp yesterday as I couldnt get into main shell of pc at all and I had no internet for a time,but I am back as of last night
