cat, you don't burden me. It makes me feel better coming on this site-other people suffering from the same problems make me realise I'm not crazy and it helps to let it out sometimes.

I'm glad you've had a good day though.

I agree with you there, I find it easier talking to people who are in a similar situation as me. Its so hard to explain to someone who has no idea about depression whats going on. A thing that annoys me so much is friends and family telling me to snap out of it and think positively. If it was that easy, I would have done it by now.

My problem is that I have a bit of a social phobia, places with people freak me out so much, had about 8 jobs none lasting more than 6 weeks and had to leave because I've had a break down. Im simply not a people person, only online can I really relax with strangers but then they cant see me and I dont feel so self concious.

Thank you :) I'm off to bed now, got to get up early (10) and actually get dressed (no pjs all day for me) and go into town :(

    Take Care and sleep well

I suffer more with anxiety than anything else-if I feel even a bit worried the thoughts get stuck in my head and I can't let go. A few years ago when this first happened I was too afraid to be alone, in case I lost control and did something like hurting myself. My mum had to take me to and from college and I even made her come to work with me for a while. :o It embarrasses me thinking that now. But when it comes back even slightly, I worry I could end up that bad again.

Luckily I've been pretty much ok recently-as long as no one expects too much of me, I can cope.

    Night cat

I'd better go to bed now too I guess-have to be up at 6.30 for work. Although I expect OH will wake me up texting at 5.30 when he gets up!

I've decided I'm going to speak to my manager tomorrow and tell her its not right what shes done with my job.

    Night everyone.

Razorbladekisses quote---I really do appreciate the friends I have made on this thread. I didn't mean to sound ungrateful in my previous post. What I meant to say was in day to day offline life I don't have any friends. No-one whom I can go out with shopping or for coffee or anything. If I do anything it's always by myself. It does get very lonely. People say go out, make friends but it just isn't that easy. I have difficulty maintaining friendships/relationships which I suppose might be a factor as to why I have no friends now. *sigh*

This post to Horace could be me.I think i have difficulty maintaining friendships because i expect to much from people yet i only expect back what i give if that makes sense.I find a lot of people shallow and their friendship is only there as long as it suits them. Not my idea of friendship but as you say it does get lonely but that is how i have felt all my life to be honest even when i was married.

    Morning Peeps!

It's nice to see some familiar 'faces' popping in once more, & a big Hito everyone!

As with most of us on here, you think you're finally turning that corner; you stick one little toe around the wall.........only for some blighter to drop a grand piano on yer bunion:D We are in ferocious battle with the local authority at the moment--among many others--who are chasing the wandering offspring for council tax & court costs for Aug-Nov last year after the 'leaving home' episode. Thing is:rolleyes: offspring had moved back here on 31 July.......
    Don't you just love officialdom:mad:

As to the on-going pj debate, I am trying:whistle: to bathe & dress before 8:30 in the mornings ashamed0003.gif some days it works better than others...

Whatever you are doing today, I hope you stay warm & dry & wish you Peaceful Minds folks. BMFx
