Yes Miro a dram is a scottish term used primarily for whiskey. I'm not anti-alcohol but usually prefer a soft drink 99.9% of the time.....today I treated myself to some nice cranberry juice that Mr T has kindly put on bogof:p
I'm not anti alcohol, just anti mr/mrs don't know when to stop/how to handle their drink as accidents happen and people get hurt/killed.
Soft drinks all the way for me
Is Mr T, Mr Tesco?
Hope you are now ready for the big day!0 -
Cheeky. I'm ok. Must admit, its hard with Christmas round the corner and the first one without my mum. But doing my best!!!
It will be hard, especially the 1st one, but you'll get through it and be proud of yourself for doing so.
I swear I posted in 'the arms' the other night, but i'll be blowed if I know where0 -

Report what is going on. Your name needn't be brought into any complaint, so the practice will not find out who raised the issues.
The PCT holds the NHS purse strings for the NHS practices now, and they can have a lot of 'influence' on how things are run.
Yes - one patient causing trouble could be de-registered, but the PCT looking closely at their working practises and threatening to withold funding or remove their contract would be very frightening to a practice that relies on NHS trade.
I think I may have too as i'm getting quite annoyed with my practice. I cannot wait until the day I can afford private treatment.
Thanks for letting me know who I need to contact, i've never really known who to complain too before.
I know the practice in question is eager for new patients as they have signs up everywhere telling people to get their friends and family to sign up with them, which looks a bit desperate.0 -

Thanks, it appears to be going down slowly, I just hope it's properly sorted before Xmas day.
Next appointment is mid January when he said he will remove a piece of tooth from a gap where a tooth no longer is which may be causing my problem.
The dental nurse, who was there last time I went as well, was really helpful and friendly - they need some more like her as the dentists, receptionists and other dental nurses are really miserable!0 -

Well, naturally I hope for a happy ending, but be careful. It's either on or off, not both depending on how he feels at that time.0
