Hi all, well the ex txted me last night saying he's made a mistake and still loves me but he wants us to have a break for a month and then start from scratch. i booked a holiday too last night im off to egypt on the 11th for a week i cant wait to go i need a holiday

i really dont know what to do with my ex im still hurting so much at the moment

How's everyone? I know I'm all behind (people have been saying that for years!) and everything, but it's been kind of crazy at Tiff Towers. I didn't know where to post first!

Gilette, so wish i could give you a hug x can't even do a picture of one cos i'm not good on this but....the sentiment is there. Why ever would you think that people sense you are 'not normal'?? Of course you are!...If you're not, then the majority of people on here aren't either, including me! I have read lots of your posts, both here and on other forums.. and you have a great way with words and a great sense of humour. The cr*p you have been through in your life has made you the person you are today and you will have learnt by it...please don't put yourself down. You have lots of wonderful qualities. Being able to empathise with others is just one..and one day you will find someone who will appreciate those qualities. Until then...you'll just have to put up with us!! BIG HUG! xx

to our new family members,
suki1964 (brilliant year - 'twas the year of the Tiff!), newcook, the devil made me do it, Gillianh2, weymuffred and loublue and a welcome home to pumpkin!
I hope you've found yourselves at home here among all the wonderful peeps and their unending and valuable support.

On which note, I'd like to say a sincere Tiffy thank you to all of the amazing souls here, for your generous comments and kindness while I was on walkabout.
(It worked - they didn't even notice the taste of the catnip in their tea!)

Well peeps, it's that time of year again...college/school holidays! Yes, as of today, DS is on his college break. This means that he'll be expecting 3 meals a day, constant music which can register on the Richter scale at times, console games at all hours and demands for £s!!!_pale_ On the bright side, DS has been known to sleep heavily - I think the record stands at 4p.m.! - and so the Tiffster may still be able to fit in some of her catnap quota. I don't know where this month (or even year!) has gone and I have yet to purchase something to stuff on Christmas Day!
Not only that, but I'm a bit fractious atm, as the main gifts for DS have not yet arrived from Play.com. I've been stalking the postman, but nothing as yet. Ruddy reindeer! Is it just me or has the standard of delivery dropped since they brought in the no 2nd post rules etc.? You'd think that with less deliveries to make, that the service would be better, although the logic follows that they have more to deliver in one go. Why fix it, if it ain't broke?!
I guess you're all still abed, preparing for the annual famine attack on the supermarkets. I've been up since 4.30 - no good reason - and I've been through the sheep dip (shower) and I've been rewarded with a belting headache as we speak. I went on a cleaning attack yesterday on the downstairs of Tiff Towers - started to look like Miss Haversham's place out of Great Expectations! Still waiting for David Bellamy to call before I go near DS's room! And I also went to town - that's 2 days in a row! - and I stopped in to check on my Mum twice briefly via my taxi journeys there and back and I bought her some roses and a dessert she loves. I have the taxi waiting for me when I do this. So I's a broke Tiffster.

Anyway guys, good luck to all those who've got people to do and places to see (I know what I've written!) today and I hope you're all wrapping up warm and looking after yourselves. Be careful in this weather guys - very foggy here in the belly-button of the country!

Morning! In an hour I am off out on a bus travelling to Exeter to a pub for my christmas dinner (another one) this week :rotfl: to be with some more friends and we are having a disco afterwards in the afternoon so that will be nice
