Oh Sazbo I love the running. I had my first rest day in 4 weeks and I miss it. My foot has gone numb and my calf is painful so thought it best to rest it today. It's still numb.

Am thinking of doing the Hydro Active 5k in September, if not one is October.

How often do you run? It's helped me so much with the depression and taken my mind of cigarettes.

  • there are a hell of a lot of depressed people out there and it s probably because there is a false picture prresented by society of what is normal. We mus t be slim shiny honey hued and utterly presentable. This is impossible all the time hence we mere mortals get depressed. Everyone is nuts its just some hide it better than others.
:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.

Miro hun, I was saying yesterday in fact how guilty i feel that i dont have time to reply to everyone. I wish i did, but i guess it's the same for others here too, we do what we can hun. The fact that you weren't on the thread yourself for a long while didn't mean i didn't think of you often, far from it in fact...

I'm sorry your counselling got cancelled. That doesn't help, I know. I'm having to face up to three weeks without counselling next month when my therapist is away. I'm not looking forward to that, so i do understand.

    Much love,
    Saz xxxx

Oh, I wasn't complaining, just pointing out that all the people here 6 months ago, aren't around anymore. My own fault for going away and finding out when I came back that everyone else was new and didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

I come back to this thread out of habit, but have no real reason too anymore. Yes, I still get very depressed, but i'm not starting out my depression with new people again, as I can get repetitive and other depressed people don't need me spouting my rubbish on top of there issues and my support is useless cos everyone else can say it better than me. It's where the language barrier kicks in, my English is good, but it doesn't extend to the likes of yourself, Tiff and other posters as non English natives can sound abrupt and I remember I upset CCStar nearly every post, despite not meaning too, so I learnt quickly to not post to others cos I often made things worse :o

Well, usually i do a run in the gym before work mon-fri - but i vary it with weights, cycling and swimming, partly to prevent body getting to used to - or injured - doing same form of exercise all the time and partly to stop me getting bored!:D Since doing the 10k last month, i've been trying to up my pace - doing shorter distances at faster speed kinda thing.

I know everyone's different, but it does help me a lot with the depression too. Sometimes when i get a real downer, well nothing helps then lol, but generally it does keep my mood lifted. Hmmm... am tempted by the Hydro Active 5k...... ;):D

Well, real reason or not, you know you're a valued member of the thread and welcome here anytime. I don't ever recall you being abupt, in fact, i can recall many times when you were extremely helpful to people on here, and many other posters/lurkers who were touched by your situation and your honesty in what you posted about how you felt. So no, I wouldn't class that as "rubbish" at all hun. We still need you here.

    Love, Saz xxxx

*zippy*, :hello: How are you? I agree that weekends are the worst. Do you have a young family that keep you occupied or are they older?

Don't apologise :D rant all you want, that's what this thread is for :)

Katie, The fete sounds like it was fun. Congrats. on winning so many prizes :) I watched Casualty tonight too.

juno, Hope you enjoy your weekend with your girlfriend.

stebiz, I'm glad to hear that you've made an appointment with your GP. Your wife is obviously very worried about you. It sounds as though she is being very supportive towards you which must be a great help.

    Look after yourself.

Karrie, You're had such a bad couple of days. Sending BIG (((HUGS))) your way. Deep breaths Karrie.

lol @ what her husband said. He obviously knows what she's like!
