Tulip, do you go to church often? i have thought a few times that i might find soem comfort out of going to church. I have always been quite spirtitual, mostly in a spooky sense as i get premonitions some times. Do you find that the priest is helpful to you? Hope you get your Chipmunk.

    H xx

    :hello: H,

Yes I go to the church when there are carol services on as they are loads of them around christmas,I didnt go to the RNLI one this afternoon as I fell over in Asda on their shiny floor as I was wearing my boots and it was my boots that made me fall,I had hurt my knee and I couldnt get up straight away because I was in so much pain :) The Asda team were fantastic as they went to get a first aider and a wheelchair for me to sit in to be taken to their first aid room,I eventually got to my feet, someone looked out for my dad as he was coming to get me,I got my Alvin Chipmunk toy :) hes cute :) also got pack of free christmas cards from the Sunday Express newspaper so I had to buy that newspaper as well.christmas cards were from Superdrug :)

Anyway the firstaider took my details, asked me what happened, were there any witnesses etc and they wrote on a form in my words and then I signed it and I was free to go,I went out slowly and I held dads arm as he wanted to see some dvds at £3 of which there was nothing then I went home,Dad was talking to me in the car and then suddenly I cried tears as the shock just hit me from the fall.I went to mums and told her what happened,Had lunch then I felt teary again and I went to have a sleep of which I cried more tears,Anyway came back to my flat and had a hot bath, then I rested it on my sofa :)

It still hurts slightly so seeing how it is tomorrow or I may not go to the pub but I do hope so as I dont like missing my karioke :) I had to throw out the boots as they were now too dangerous to wear as I dont want to fall again :)

    Have a lovely evening :)

*hugs* to those that need one :)

hi katie, hope your leg stops hurting real soon, big hugs.
i've been to the cinema with my sons this afternoon, to see the bee movie, it was quite silly, the kids enjoyed it, and it was good to get out of the house.
ex bf still keeps ringing me, but i'm going to turn my phone off tonight, so he cant upset me any more. dont know what i can do to stop him rest of week tho, have to keep phone as sons are at school, and i need to be able to be contacted by them if they need to.
    big hugs to everyone

Sorry I've not been around a lot for a while, I've been having quite a good time of it, but I haven't forgotten you. I hope everyone is doing ok and things aren't to hard for you.

Didn't have to work this weekend, so I've spent a good part of it drunk :o

Its been a completely free one though, so not bad going on the whole getting out of debt side of things.

On Friday before work I finished my Christmas shopping, so no more worrying about that. I hope its going to be a relaxing Christmas this year, for once. At least I've not gone any further into debt for it.

Friday night MIL was having a candle party-along the lines of a body shop party or an ann summers party, but with candles. I think-I can't actually remember any candles... Had some wine in the fridge so I took that, and it didn't cost me a thing.

Saturday I caught up with cleaning and tidying and other such boring things, and in the evening I went out with some friends from my exercise classes. We went to the meadery which was a new experience for me. I don't like the mead, so I had to drink lots of wine instead! All paid for in advance, so (sort of) free again. Went back to mates and she had a kareoke machine. I didn't participate as I just wasn't drunk enough to put myself through that, but I had great fun listening :rotfl:

Today I stayed in bed until lunchtime :o then went off to MILs to start planning the wedding-great fun. I decided on my dress and we started looking at venues. We didn't get that far, but we've made a start. Put up her Christmas decorations too, so it got me all festive. I've come home and just finished wrapping all my presents. I'm so organised this year!

Good weekend all in all, I hope the week goes smoothly and quickly because OH is meant to be home for the weekend on Friday-YAY! :happyhear

Watching a very strange film on channel 4 called In America. Anyone seen it? I should be in bed but I can't turn it off!

I decided that alcohol drunk at parties doesn't count, and thus got very drunk last night. And I've spent today regretting it. But in a way this is a good thing, as I think I'm realising I need to give up

    It's cold and I have a cold.
I woke up at 4am and couldn't get back coz of my runny nose.
I have phoned in work and am "working from home". Which I must get on and do.

I sort of read up on the thread but with so many newbies it is hard for me and I feel like I am slipping away from the thread a bit.

I am sorry if I haven't mentioned anyone by name recently. I do think about you all but I get a mental block when I go to write a post.

In no particular order....and with I'm sure many ommissions.....

morning all, sorry to here you have a cold gillette, hope you feel well again real soon.
was having a good morning, got some housework done, then decided to get a laptop that i had bought son for xmas, out of its box, to set it up, and find i cant get it to connect to my wireless internet, cos i cant find the security password, so that has upset me a little, so its off back in its box for today.
hopefully i will be able to sort it before the big day.
dont know what any body elses kids are like, but mine expect everything to be set up and able to be used the day they have received it. they so impatient, which is made worse by their ADHD
    big hugs to all

  • Morning all. I'm off for my 2nd assessment with the pyschiatrist today. Bit nervous, as everyone I've spoken to got diagnosed and prescriped for on the first assessment, yet I've got to go back as they 'need to investigate further'. Worried about what that means!

I've been Self-harm free for a week, which is good. Hopefully that'll be my last slip up.

Hope all is well with everyone.
